La casa es una iglesia reconvertida, con dos pisos con escaleras siendo el de arriba totalmente diáfano. Dos baños completos. Muy bonita y bien cuidada, el espacio es amplio y la mesa de arriba todo un lujo. ¡Ojo que hay otra puerta al lado y es fácil confundirse! Es una zona rural, alejada de los núcleos más grandes (no está en Matlock sino en Birchover, que está a 18 minutos en coche).
Nos mandaron varias veces el mismo mensaje de "bienvenida" pero no contestaron en ningún momento a nuestros mensajes. Necesitábamos saber cómo poner la calefacción (no pudimos hacerlo y hacía frío) ni tuvimos la clave del wifi en ningún momento. Todavía sigo esperando respuesta, así que mala comunicación con el anfitrión.
Las carreteras de la zona son muy malas y en el pueblo hay dos pubs, pero ningún sitio donde comprar. No hay aparcamiento, tienes que dejar el coche en la calle si encuentras espacio (ellos aparcan por cualquier lado, bloqueando un carril de las calles pero es así en todo UK) aunque es gratuito

Lovely period building, quite modern inside. Was very hot upstairs most of the time but the huge ceiling fan did help.
Beds were beautiful and we all agreed were comfortable.
Only thing missing was a garden. We knew this before we went. It was just a shame it never had one.
Parking was hit and miss due to others on the street. Usually somewhere to park, just not always outside the house.

The beautiful house in such a lovely welcoming village was really comfortable with everything we needed. Really liked the information packs, maps and books to help plan our adventures and the games were good for the evenings.
we didn't like leaving at the end of our stay, would have stayed longer if we had more time. fantastic little place
