A beautiful property and fantastic hosts. We thoroughly enjoyed our two night stay at Sylvie and Sebastian’s lovely chateau. A short tram ride to the city and a lovely, tranquil place to stay.

Beautiful property, a real jewel tucked away in a residential street on Bordeaux’s right bank. Spacious, with creative decor and beautiful tree-shaded garden. Sylvie and Sébastien are born hosts.
Breakfast was homemade, set out in the garden, and so pleasant.
I can’t overstate just how hard Sylvie and Sébastien work to create a familial, friendly atmosphere, even between guests. They are consummate hosts, unflustered by district-wide power cuts and record-breaking heatwaves.
It was our first stay at Le Clos de Queyries, but it most certainly won’t be our last. Au plaisir, Sylvie et Sébastien.
Having visited Bordeaux in an unprecedented heatwave, air con would have been welcome. But our hosts chilled the room before evening, and fans were provided. They did their utmost to ensure we were as comfortable as possible.
