The location of the hotel was good and central in hayle with a decent restaurant around tbe corner from the hotel salt.
Definitely a place worth visiting for food!!
Staff were friendly and helpful throughout my stay
Breakfast was good and the chef was friendly and efficient.
The room was fairly comfortable and clean but definitely needs modernising.
With the room being warm I had the window open and had a lot of noise from outside.
The thermostat on the showers in some rooms need replacing and the presure increasing.

We loved the old style grandeur of the place. There is some magnificent artwork. It was very clean and the staff were great. Location is fabulous for Coastpath walkers - it’s on the path and close to train station and buses.
Everything is a little tired and could do with a makeover. On our first night we were in room 10 on the second floor and the WiFi didn’t reach that far. When we returned a few days later we were in room 1 on the first floor and that was large and much grander; and everything worked!

The breakfast was good
The room was really dusty, cobwebs in the window, cracked tiles on the bathroom floor and shower didn't work properly
