About this house rental
Located in Hanalei, this charming house for $1,800 per night is a fantastic choice for your next trip. “Even more beautiful than I imagined!” will be your first thoughts upon checking into the Hanalei Bay House. There is no better way to experience Hanalei than from this exquisitely detailed home located steps from the world famous Hanalei Bay and a short stroll to the shops and eateries of the charming village of Hanalei. There is no shortage of space at this grand residence with 5 bedrooms, 4.5 baths and large great room. There is ample space for everyone to enjoy spending time together - or separately. The entry is on the first level: to the right of the foyer is a large suite/media room with two full beds, TV, sitting area, refrigerator, bathroom, and a full laundry area. To the left of the foyer is a stairwell to the second level where the magic really unfolds. Upstairs you will find yourself in the great room featuring a large inviting and well equipped kitchen, dining area, and living room that opens out to the covered lanai. Three massive sliding doors retract to create an indoor/outdoor living space that allows the cool trade winds to gently blow through the home. The lanai has a cozy sofa and two chairs with ottomans and is a perfect place to kick back with a drink and relax. The lanai also has a gas grill adjacent to the lounge area to grill up the fresh catch of the day. Just off the kitchen, the lanai features a large teak dining table for dining al fresco, and a large daybed that is perfect for sneaking away for an afternoon nap. There are four beautifully appointed bedrooms upstairs. There are two master suites which makes the house an ideal location for extended family trips, or sharing a vacation with another family. The master bedrooms, located at opposite ends of the hallway, each come equipped with King size beds, air conditioning, and full en-suite master bathrooms. Between the two master bedrooms are two more bedrooms that share a Jack and Jill full bathroom. Perfect for the kids, one bedroom is set up as a bunk room and has a twin/double bunk bed and a separate twin with trundle bed. The remaining bedroom has two full beds. The upstairs bedrooms can accommodate 10 sleepers while the lower suite can sleep an additional 2 people. Occupancy is 12 people maximum. Outside in the large carport you have a selection of beach gear including beach towels, chairs, umbrella, rolling cooler, boogie boards, beach wagon, and misc toys. Surf boards and bikes are available for rent upon request. There is a refreshing outdoor shower for use after a day at the beach. Whether you spend your days lounging at the house, playing at the beach, or adventuring around the island, Hanalei Bay House is sure to make your vacation special. Hanalei Bay House is one of the largest homes available in Hanalei with 5 bedrooms, on two levels that will comfortably sleep 12 people while still affording privacy and space. TSUNAMI EVACUATION ZONE: This property is located in a Tsunami Evacuation zone, in the event of a Tsunami warning guests must evacuate to Princeville. This is a terrific rental for a large group. The common area/kitchen is huge. Great for cooking and hanging out. Easy walk into town or to the beach. The home is in very good condition with nice furniture and a good layout. Krisha (the manager) was available when we had a question.

For our 50th wedding anniversary, my husband and I made a list of where and what we wanted for our celebration with our family. The Hanalei Bay House was a perfect fit! The house is beautiful, comfortable, well-equiped, and provided plenty of space for the 10 of us. Access to beautiful Hanalei Bay is minutes away and we were there every day. The location and lush tropical surroundings is the true Hawaii feeling we were looking for!

Wonderful experience at Hanalei Bay. The house was perfect, great condition with everything you need to enjoy your stay, just a block or so from a main entry to the beach, 5 min walk to town. The pictures of the house does not do it justice. I originally had another house booked with a different real estate company and they cancelled on us, turns out it was a blessing as Krisha and Kauai Palms Real Estate were super responsive.

we had a wonderful family vacation at this property. the location is great - easy to walk to town and to the beach. my favorite part of this rental was the abundance of living space - there were plenty of zones to accommodate a large group with different interests. the indoor/outdoor space was also lovely. I would recommend more paper products and some candles or air fresheners in the house, but otherwise things were great. I understand having to get your own paper products if you will be using an unusual amount but the starter stash only lasted 2 days and the house was a a bit musty when you first walk in. It aired out once the doors were open! the house had everything we needed for a great stay and the bedrooms were very large.

We rented this home for a week during my son’s wedding and it was the perfect place for the 8 of us (all adults and could have had more with kids)and perfect for entertaining the friends and family who stopped by on their way to the beach across the street (easy and short so nearby). It has wonderful gathering spaces - the high ceilings and large lanais connecting the spacious kitchen and living areas were loved by all. Opening it all up with the massive wonderful wooden sliding doors was a daily treat. The kitchen was a joy to cook in, and was very well stocked. The bedrooms were very spacious and comfortable with clean and newly updated bathrooms. Everyone very much appreciated the air conditioning in the bedrooms. Krisha was very responsive when we had the only one issue with the shower in the master bath and had a plumber come out quickly. A part is on they way. There were plenty of chairs, umbrellas and other beach necessities. There is a bit of traffic noise at times because Aku is a busy street from town to the beach , but we would not hesitate to stay there again!

Great Hanalei Bay House
We loved our stay at Hanalei Bay. Loved the area and loced the house. The house was clean and well stocked with everything we needed. Lots of beach towels, chairs, boards, snorkel gear, etc . We loved the location. Just a short 2 min walk to the beach across the street. Short walk to the town of Hanalei. There were lots of food options and shopping rentals there. Only thing we didn't love was the busy street corner the house was on. Lots of loud beach traffic all day long. The nights were quiet though and we could hear the ocean. There is no ocean view from the house. The house was beautiful and very roomy for our group of 10. We had everything we needed and didn't have any issues. The rental company was great to help us get rental bikes. We would definitely recommend and hope to come back someday again!

Fabulous house in a great location
The photos of this property do not do it justice. The house is beautiful and very thoughtfully designed. The kitchen/living/lanai areas flow seamlessly allowing great opportunities for a group to interact. The furnishings and housewares are beautiful and I have never experienced a better equipped kitchen in a rental.
The location of the house across from the beach pavilion is ideal - literally a two minute walk. Similarly, the grocery store, farmers market, restaurants and other shopping were just a few minutes away.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would recommend the house without reservation.

The beach was so beautiful and convenient we never went to any others. We had 5 kids ages 6-15 and they loved boogie boarding and playing in the sand. All the beach gear they keep at the house to use is so nice to have! A few minutes walk in the other direction is the cutest little town of Hanalei. Super quick and easy walk to restaurants, shops, farmers market, shave ice. The host was great and quick to respond to questions. Overall a fantastic vacation. This is an outstanding property that comfortably accommodated my large family. The house is spacious, well appointed with quality amenities, and in a perfect location, a short walk to the beach and to the restaurants and shops in Hanalei.
