Very scenic surroundings, quiet, tucked away at the back, a nice beach with a little bar only 5 minutes away as well

I absolutely loved the hostel, especially the large common areas, with plenty of tables and chairs, and the beautiful swimming pool. The pool is large and deep, which isn’t always a given, and it’s perfect both for swimming and relaxing.
I also really loved the atmosphere of the place. It has the feeling of a house in the middle of the forest, surrounded by greenery, peaceful and relaxing. It feels much more like staying in a home than in a typical hostel, which made the experience even more enjoyable.
After one month in Thailand, mostly staying in dormitories, I was looking for a private room where I could relax a little and get away from the usual hustle and bustle. This was the perfect place for that.
The Italian guy who runs the hostel was incredibly kind and helpful from the very beginning, always making sure that everything was in order — and it was. On my last day, it was pouring with rain when I was leaving, and he kindly lent me a raincoat. I really appreciated that thoughtful gesture.
For me, this wasn’t actually a negative — in fact, it was exactly what I was looking for — but it’s worth mentioning that the hostel is a little outside the main tourist areas. You definitely need a scooter to stay here, although having a scooter is almost essential when getting around Koh Samui anyway. There aren’t many restaurants aimed at foreign tourists nearby.
However, there are several small local businesses along the street, which I personally think make the experience feel even more authentic and give you a better taste of everyday life in Thailand.
