Staying here was a truly unique experience. The tiny house is tucked away in a quiet mountain location, well separated from the nearby villages, which gives it a wonderful sense of peace and seclusion. The host family was very friendly and welcoming. Their home is right next to the cabin, and there are plenty of animals roaming around the property, which our children especially enjoyed. They also had a great time playing with the hosts’ children, who were happy to have some new playmates. A charming and memorable place for families looking for nature, tranquillity and something a little different.

Where do you start ... this is simply the most breathtaking property I've ever stayed in. I've travelled all over the world to pretty much every continent and every "star" of hotel ... NEVER have I been speechless - the view is something straight from a fairytale! I travelled with my daughters for the Austrian Grand Prix and as this was only about 1hr and 20mins away from the track it seemed a great idea to be outside the crowds and take in some lovely scenery - I was not prepared though ... the view from the cabin is biblical! Martina and her family kept us up to date as we had a little delay on arrival time and car hire from Vienna to travel down - the travel itself was motorway the whole way, through fantastic mountain scenery for the most part but the last part of the journey to Donnersbach, up the mountain to the cabin and the reward of the view was the journey of a lifetime. If you are thinking of staying here ... stop thinking .. .just BOOK IT! The cabin itself is almost entirely wooden with every amenity you could want, the only downside is not the families fault but in the middle of an unprecedented 35 degree celsius heatwave it was pretty stuffy, fans were available in the cabin but this was all the more reason to sit in the lovely garden area and take in the jaw dropping view! I cannot recommend this place enough, it will cleanse your soul from today's bustling and harsh world! The Grand Prix was pretty good too but the property "almost" stole it from being the main event!!!
As said, the heatwave Austria was experiencing was stifling but hardly the property's fault and Fan's were supplied.

Die Lage ist traumhaft, die Ausstattung ist ideal für eine Familie mit mehreren Kindern, der Außenbereich gleicht einem Blumenmeer, auch innen ist der Troadkasten liebevoll mit echten Pflanzen dekoriert. Zahlreiche Ausflugsziele wie die Donnersbachklamm, der wunderschöne Putterer See, die Planneralm etc. sind mit dem Auto schnell erreichbar. Die Gastgeberfamilie ist super freundlich und zuvorkommend. Die zahlreichen Hoftiere werden artgerecht gehalten.
