Het uitzicht op Ella Rock en Adam’s Peak was werkelijk fenomenaal! Ook was er een projector aanwezig, waardoor we ’s avonds gezellig een film konden kijken.
Oshan was een fantastische host en hielp ons werkelijk met alles: van het bereiden van een heerlijk ontbijt tot het regelen van een lekkere maaltijd toen we op de dag van aankomst pas om 23.00 uur konden inchecken. Ook zijn vader bracht ons steeds voor een zeer correcte prijs naar alle bezienswaardigheden in Ella.
We hebben ontzettend genoten van deze prachtige accommodatie, maar vooral van de ongelooflijk vriendelijke en behulpzame gastheer. Oshan doet er alles aan om de accommodatie verder te vernieuwen en het verblijf voor toekomstige gasten zo perfect mogelijk te maken. Absoluut een aanrader!
Als we dan toch een klein minpuntje moeten noemen: de waterdruk van de douche was niet altijd even sterk en af en toe viel de elektriciteit uit. We hebben dit echter op meerdere locaties in Sri Lanka ervaren, dus waarschijnlijk ligt dit buiten de controle van de accommodatie. Daarnaast vonden we het bed een klein beetje aan de kleine kant, maar dit heeft ons verblijf zeker niet minder fijn gemaakt.

Oshan el encargado es muy amable y atento. Nos ayudaba con todo, desde reservar tuk tuks para llevarnos al centro (se llega en 10 minutos) hasta para los transfer a otros sitios. Cada mañana nos traía un desayuno espectacular que tomábamos en la terraza con unas vistas preciosas. Todo estaba muy limpio, la terraza tiene una red muy cómoda donde tumbarse a leer un rato o simplemente a admirar el paisaje. Además tiene plancha y perchas para la ropa y secador.
Todo fue genial aunque si tuviera que ponerle un pero sería que le faltaba un poco de presión al agua tanto del baño como de la ducha.

The hotel location was absolutely beautiful and we got to wake up to an amazing view of the mountains each morning. It’s around a 25 minute walk into Ella town however they offer a tuktuk wherever you like at any given time which we found so helpful and a lot cheaper than the local tuktuks. They also arranged transport to pick us up from Sigiriya and our onward travel to Yala which was really convenient! Room was also super clean and spacious. Breakfast was amazing each morning, we got provided a range of fruit, omlette, smoothies, toast and different Sri Lanka dishes which were so tasty. The family were so lovely and made us feel so welcome - they really couldn’t do enough for us and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay!
