Location was perfect for us - easy access to beach and amenities; being surrounded by forest was brilliant for wildlife spotting.
Swimming pool - although a bit cold!
Onsite bar - meant we could relax after a busy day without having to go out again and was reasonably priced
Staff were all really helpful and friendly
Only minor complaint was the breakfast which was typical hotel buffet food that sits around too long and gets dried out, but it saved us time in the mornings

They allowed dogs.
Mattress had springs poking up near the surface in places. Mattress was lumpy. Ironically dog barking at night was an issue, but not due to guest’s dogs, but rather a group of roaming dogs. Towels were very old and some tearing with use. Breakfast was mediocre.
