Het was echt vakantie in dit huis!

De locatie, de ruimte, comfort en super schoon!

De boiler en airco maken erg veel lawaai. Vooral als je lekker buiten zit te eten, is dat jammer. Airco hebben we uitgezet.

Cosy and comfortable on big island

the location was just right for exploring the southern end of the island. The bed and sofa were very comfortable and you can make yourself at home. There is a bonus of having a full sized washer and dryer although shared it was great to have. Also the lanai with garden was very relaxing we loved its peaceful situation. Our host was very responsive to our questions and made sure we felt at home and safe.

the only thing which we missed was a dish washer but it didn’t really spoil the experience

Exceptional

This cozy Apartment is roomy. Comfortable king bed. Perfect if you are not one of those big resort people. Half a mile to the best snorkeling spots I have ever experienced. Loved the covered patio and being less than a mile from a large shopping center for eating out and groceries. I just pray when we come back to the Big Island this will be available for us. If not I will arrange our trip around the availability of this unit. Very happy with our stay. Zero issue and no complaints here!

Everything was great. Rental car needed unless you utilize the trolley bus system which I believe does not run on Sundays.

Large studio with bedroom and attached living/dining/kitchen area. Quiet building/laundry access.

Large size of apartment was nice as well as access to laundry and quiet building. Well equipped kitchen too.

No complaints.

AVOID at all costs

Mis-represented property, its a Studio at best, with many issues. Multi plex property with people at all hours running and making noise. Infested with ants. Property ower isnt around, and has an excuse for everything, and its not her fault.

We really liked the location. It's 7 min walk from the white sand beach. The neighborhood is nice and quiet. And it's about 10-15 min away from downtown kona.

Not as I expected

The location is decent. very close to ocean, although have to walk a bit to the beach.

This place looks like a home converted into few units. Our entrance is glass patio door, you kind of walking into the bedroom. There are blocked doors here and there which I suspect used to be entrance. The descriptions says bedroom1 and bedroom2, gave me impression it's a two bedroom unit, it is not, it's two rooms in total. Check very careful with the picture, the second room is kitchen/dining./living with a sofa bed. The closet is tiny. The light switches locations are not in the conventional place and there is no marking on the switch, so for few switches, we press and nothing happens. The ants in kitchen and bath (they need to hire professionals). As soon as we arrive They are on the counters, kitchen cabinets. We tried hard to keep the counter free of food and they still keeps coming over. The kitchen stove is not a conventional one, took a while to figure out how to operate. Would be nice if there is an instruction. The washing machine operation time restriction is very inconvenient because it is a shared laundry room which means we cannot leave the laundry in the room. It takes a long time for a load to wash (common for an HE washer) and dry, which means we have to wait a long time in the morning to go out even if we do the wash as soon as we get up or we have to come back very early to do the laundry, which is radicicolous for tourists. We should have read this restriction more careful). The machines are old and rustic, especially the dryer, the lint catcher area looks dirty. The cooking pots are very old/poor condition Teflon's, which is not good for health The beds are too soft (personal preference) One of the gliding door lock is broken, they used a stick to block it from opening. the snorkeling gear are not cleaned, and seem very dirty. Some bags storing them has mold on it. We ended up decided not to use them.

It was very comfortable and clean. We used the gas grill almost every night!! Kitchen was well equipped. It was pretty quiet.

This place is so homey and quite. The neighbors are extremely respectful and the location is awesome. We are planning on coming back here to this exact spot in 2-3 years.
