Inside you will find a full kitchen and a dining nook for enjoying home-cooked meals. And in the evenings or on lazy days, relax in the cozy living room complete with cozy seating and a gas fireplace. Free WiFi rounds out your home's essentials. Just two miles from this rental, Arrowhead Village offers shopping, cuisine, seasonal entertainment, and special events. Find year-round fun for all ages at Santa's Village in Sky Park, only two miles from your front door. Snow Valley offers skiing, snowboarding, and sledding, all just 13 miles east on CA-18. Spring and summer offers visitors various hiking, 4x4, and mountain biking trails throughout the valley. And just eight-and-a-half miles west is the town of Crestline which offers antiquing and additional shopping. THINGS TO KNOW This home, like many in the mountains, does not feature air-conditioning. A 4x4 is recommended in winter; all vehicles are required to carry chains during the snow season. Parking notes: There is free parking available for 2 vehicles. Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit. More information can be downloaded from the "Rental Agreement" on the checkout page. Due to local laws or HOA requirements, guests must be at least 25 years of age to book. Guests under 25 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian for the duration of the reservation. I took my granddaughter to Santa’s Village for her Christmas gift. We rented this cabin because of the close proximity to SV and everything else. We loved the cabin and really enjoyed having a fire every night. It’s nice that it’s right off the main highway but far enough in so it was quiet. Will definitely rent here again.

I loved the outside aesthetics of “The Treehouse.” Once we arrived, we found many bugs inside the cabin. While the surfaces, towels and toilets appeared spic and span, all else was not. The place smelled musty (dusting was needed because windows are constantly open for fresh air from previous stays as we needed to do too), there were lots of spider webs on the corners of the walls. I have pictures of a dead mosquito on the kitchen counter the size of a house key and on a bedroom wall smashed, plus a live spider in the bath tub the same size! Had my husband and I not lived far, we would have driven back home that check in night. Vacasa on the other hand handled accommodations and details with effiency. Next time, I hope to have a better stay like I’ve previously had at other cabins without the nervous fear or anxiety of bugs.

My husband and I both greatly enjoyed our stay. The cabin was lovely, and nicely decorated; I especially enjoyed the moose and bear motifs in the bedrooms. The folder on the coffee table was very helpful in aiding us with the TV. We both slept well!

The location was great as we were there to ride bikes at SkyPark at Santa's Village and this is only 3 miles from it. The cabin was easy to locate. Parking tight, one vehicle only! Older and dated but overall nice. Loved the balcony and deck. Liked that there are 2 bathrooms. Then we went to bed :( The bed to the right of the stairs, with the black metal frame was so squeaky and wobbly that every move by myself or my husband woke us up; mattress also not great. The other bed was quiet but mattress VERY firm. Also since it was August was a bit warm for sleeping. Maybe put a stationary fan in the bedrooms? The ceiling fan in the living room was great! Didn't use kitchen or TVs, WiFi was good.

Gorgeous view, multiple decks, plenty of activities left in the place for families. Snow shovel is in the bedroom closet! All appliances work great, heater and fireplace make it a great place to feel comfy and snuggle. Decor is very retro-Americana, loving family cabin. Kitchen is fully stocked with anything one could need to make great meals. I enjoyed my time here and I would highly recommend it to friends, family and strangers. Thank you for a wonderful getaway!

Great spot tucked away in the woods. Close to hikes, the village and the lake. Had a nice and cozy thanksgiving and found the place to be well equipped. Would recommend.

Very clean and comfortable. The furniture is cozy and the kitchen is fully equipped. The treehouse effect is real. A big window shade stopped working, the screen door came off and at least one streaming service would be nice, but those are small things. We enjoyed the cabin.
