The residence is on a street off main thoroughfares in Antananarivo. It's quiet compared to the city's core and handily placed with two restaurants immediately adjacent. It's also as secure as you can be anywhere in the city: a valuable point. The room also had a working safe. The bed was extremely comfortable, the living area and private balcony (a very nice feature) perfectly acceptable. Very good WiFi is provided for free, plus 8 terrestrial TV channels, all in the French language. The breakfast options wre varied and mine was absolutely auperb. A taste of France several thousand miles distant. The taxi shuttle to/from the airport was very helpful and spot on time while driven with a prudence atypical of Madagascan drivers. As with accommodation, payment can be arranged in local Ariary of Euros via the hotel: very helpful. Indeed all the people I met, from taxi driver to the owner and her staff were extremely helpful and courteous.
The accommodation was comfortable, though not exceptional. A little dark and with some facilities such as woodwork and kitchen cabinets were clearly in need of some updating. Minor issues in the main which just nudge my rating down from exceptional to very good. Payment in cash (as clearly spelled out on Booking.com) means carrying more funds than some may feel comfortable with, but the owners will happily take both local Ariary and Euros.

La proprietaire m`a recu à mon arrivée.
Le comfort et aussi l`emplacement pas loin de la ville
A mon arrivée vers 18hr00, il n`y avait pas de courant et comme j`avais des urgences j`ai du travailler dans le noir.
