Very clean and comfortable modern apartment with very good amenities, including car parking. Ideal location, short walk to town centre and cathedral.
Had to transfer a deposit of £150 before stay (to be returned on leaving if no damage). I understand why owner feels the need to do this but I wasn’t overly happy about it.

This was our second time staying here and we were as pleased with it as we had been the first time. The apartment is a good size for a one bedroom property, very well maintained and nicely decorated. We found the bed particularly comfortable, and liked the walk-in shower. There were toiletries provided, also coffee capsules and tea, and a welcome basket with cake, crisps and sweets - a nice touch even though we didn't eat any of them! We didn't self-cater at all but the kitchen seemed to have everything you would need. It's also good that parking is provided.
The location is very good. The apartment is set off the road in a quiet spot but you can walk to all the sights within 5-10 minutes. There are also plenty of good places to eat within an easy walk if, like us, you prefer to eat out. We like the Storehouse Kitchen and Royal Oak, while the Caffe Nero on the Market Square does a good breakfast and is great for people watching!
If we come to Ripon again we will definitely choose to stay here!
Neither of these points is an issue for us but I mention them to help other people. The apartment is up one flight of stairs so you need to be comfortable climbing these. And parking is accessed through a narrow arch which might be a challenge if you drive a large vehicle.
