We spent about 5 nights at the Pahalage and thoroughly enjoyed it. There is a great, intimate atmosphere and the staff are all very helpful and friendly. The garden with swimming pool is lovely and we also enjoyed eating at the restaurant.

Nice garden and pool, breakfast was good and also the dinner I had there was a tasty one. Staff was very friendly and helpful; the owner’s father is there to help run the places: he speaks German very well and likes a nice chat!
But! As is so often the case: it is a little run down and the cleanliness leaves much to be desired! And it would help so much for the general appearance if i. e. The water cooker - originally of white colour - would not be greyish-brown and sticky! Or the toilet paper holder: why not clean it properly with a bit of lemon juice to polish the chalk stains away and fix the loose screw…? That does not cost the world and is easily done! Invest in good cleaning staff or instruct them properly and control their work…
