We had an excellent stay at this apartment and could not have wished for a better location. It is right in the heart of Gdańsk, just by St Mary’s Church, in a historic building just above the Four Lions Fountain, next to beautiful Mariacka Street and within easy walking distance of practically everything in the city centre. There is also a Biedronka and plenty of Żabka shops for grocery shopping nearby, which was very convenient.
The apartment itself has been beautifully renovated and is bright, modern and spacious. The view from the living room is very nice, literally overlooking the church and the Four Lions Fountain. We would pull a chair up to the windows to look out while having a drink. The bedroom was particularly quiet, overlooking the green backyard and parking area, so despite the central location, we slept well. The walk-in shower was excellent, and the apartment had everything you could need, including a dishwasher, microwave, washing machine and vacuum cleaner, although we did not need to use these during our stay.
We also felt extremely safe and secure throughout our stay, as there were separate access codes for the backyard gate, the building and the apartment. The host, who spoke very good English, provided all the codes and instructions in advance, which made our arrival very easy. She also kindly allowed us to extend our check-out time.
We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend this apartment to anyone looking for a beautiful, modern, safe, quiet and very centrally located place to stay in Gdańsk.
The only minor things we would mention are that the hairdryer was a small, travel-size one and unfortunately not powerful enough to be effective. We will bring our own next time :)
The pillows and mattress were comfortable, although we would have preferred a slightly larger bed, as we are used to an extra-large one at home. However, there is also a sofa bed in the living room if additional sleeping space is needed.

Apartment seemed to have been newly renovated and clean. Spacious.
Messaging from the host.
Directions how to get to the apartment with codes to doors and gates were emailed written in a fancy, busy font, easy to be misinterpreted.
Wi-fi password supplied was outdated and only after calling the host I was told the password was changed recently and given the new one.
I felt it inappropriate and rather offensive the host commenting to me “ if you don’t like it you can stay at the hotel”, when I raised the issue of access to the building.
No instructions regarding use of appliances.
