I had the superior king room which was very nice. Great location. The bathroom in the room turned out to be fine. Very picturesque room like the photos. I suggest this room.
It doesn't mention this is also a hostel so there are a lot of peeps hanging out smoking and such. The smoking area is right outside the front door that they leave open and it goes up through the building and into your room if try to let in fresh air. There is a LED for the vanity mirror that lights up the entire room at night and you can't turn it off. So you can't really sleep in darkness. The dude at the counter found this laughable when I asked for something to cover it. The next night the stadium lights outside were left on and the curtains aren't black out so again the room was bright with light.

Bed was comfy.
Room setup was unique and looked good. It was fun for my daughter. Bathrooms were clean.
Location was very central and walkable to the night market
Room entry passed through the common washrooms which was bit odd but then it was clean so its kind of Ok too.
Staff was helpful but I felt they were apprehensive wry guiding to catch train to Vang Vieng. They did provide a good option to travel by road (no doubt about that) but a more transparent communication would have created a more positive image w.r.t. hospitality
