Lovely friendly staff, efficient speedy check in. Room was clean and tidy and the linen and towels were spotless. Toiletries in the room were plentiful and smelt lovely. Hospitality tray was well stocked and good quality. Nice biccys 😆 Bed was comfortable and roomy. Had a good nights sleep. We paid extra for breakfast which was plentiful, good quality ingredients and lots of choice. Staff in the restaurant were efficient, friendly and helpful. The hotel gardens are delightful with a great decking area by the side of the river. Loved the location.

We were in the annexe across the road from the main hotel in Bury room. The walls are quite thin, I could hear the conversations of the people next door and I heard them snoring in the night, which probably means they could hear us too. Something to be aware of, but I appreciate that's not easily fixed. Apart from that, everything else was all good.

We were part of a wedding group which was well looked after - they were very helpful arranging taxis for some. Easy check in process. Comfortable room, decent shower, good location with parking. Next door to an old pub and an excellent breakfast! Recommend.
