Perfect Property in Glastonbury

This is hands down, the most wonderful property we have stayed in when we have been travelling as a family. Our hosts could not have been more lovely and helpful. The lounge/dining/ kitchen is beautiful and open plan, allowing us to live is one, very large, space. The rooms upstairs are light and spacious with very comfortable beds. Having a parking space a very short walk from town is a massive bonus. We cannot wait to stay again!

Beautiful light spacious house in Glastonbury

A lovely light and spacious house. Felt private and peaceful. Great facilities and quality appliances. We really enjoyed our stay and would have loved to have stayed longer. The main bedroom is very spacious and comfortable. The other double bed, though on the large landing, was workable for us. Liked the sky light. Beautiful decor in mainly cream is tasteful. Being close to the owners property though affording a sense of privacy, gave a feeling of security. Close enough to the town centre so very convenient location. Really valued the parking space. Easy to use recycling system in place was also appreciated . The host was very helpful and sounded a lovely and caring person. Excellent communication throughout the whole booking to staying process- many thanks. Would like to stay again.

The lounge sofa and chair were very squishy and gave little support. Maybe OK for some people (but with arthritis I felt it). A brush for washing up dishes would be handy. There is a dishwasher but for the odd item we were not sure what to use. The broken, though workable shower door just a bit unstable for me. Owner very clearly informed us and it will soon be fixed when parts arrive- so all OK.

Excellent, spotless, spacious for 2 property situated close to the centre of Glastonbury

The property was just right for my friend and I. We wanted a short break not too far from London where we live and decided on Glastonbury. We had specific needs as my friend is unwell - somewhere not too far to walk to the centre of Glastonbury that had its own parking, outside space, 2 bedrooms and easy stairs. The town Garden House met all of these needs and more. The property has a full kitchen with all you need to make meals (which we did) , good wi fi and good TV choice. It is also easy to drive to other surrounding areas from its location (which we did). And your hosts could not be nicer and more accommodating in all ways. I had one question when booking that was responded to quickly and they were on hand at the property if we had had any issues which we didn't. It was incredibly clean too and altogether quite lovely!

Enjoyed our stay at Glastonbury Town Garden House, would book again. Communication with hosts great.

The location and accommodation was perfect, suited our needs for working at an event as needed to leave early and only there in the evenings.

Small suggestion is a mirror near a plug socket for hair appliances, also maybe a small chest of drawers or surface in main bedroom - had to put personal stuff on window sill. And a clock downstairs.

Very good sized property in a great location less than 10 minutes from the town center. Free parking at the property. Only improvement would be a bath! Easy check in/ check out.

Very comfortable and would highly recommend.

The location was perfect for the town and cafes, shops and restaurants. Within easy walking distance to the Abbey. A lovely quiet accommodation. The place was easy to access via a key drop box, was spotlessly clean, well equipped, beautifully furnished, a nice touch of easy instructions for the TV, Wifi, nearby attractions and recommendations for restaurants.

The parking spot was a little bit of a struggle for a large car, but we managed.

Lovely House and Lovely Host

Debbie was the perfect host! The house was big and spacious. Had two separate bedrooms and a shared bathroom with a huge shower! There is also a fish and chip shop a two minute walk from the house. The house really is lovely and Debbie is so gracious as well. I would definitely stay here again. We were visiting Wells Cathedral.

The only thing I could think of was it was a tiny bit hard to find as it is down a crowded street and the entrance down the side of the house to get to the accommodation is tight as well. Once we knew where to turn all was good (after I drove by a few times looking for the entrance lol). But do not look at this in a negative light.

Actually a one-bedroomed apartment, not two

Quiet location considering close proximity to town, spacious living area and all very clean and bright.

This is not a two bedroom property as advertised - the second bedroom is actually a bed on the landing and outside the bathroom with no privacy. It is also in a tiny space so either your head or your toes are touching the sloping ceiling, depending on which way around you sleep. The photos also show a large garden but in fact you only have access to a tiny patio - the garden is actually fenced off. This wasn't an issue for us but others might be hoping for more space.

In an excellent location within easy walking distance of the town centre, yet quiet. Spacious sitting room and well equipped kitchen area. Very comfy beds, great power shower and an attractive patio area. The flowers and basic supplies were a nice touch.

Comfortable home for a holiday

Restaurants & shops are within a few minutes’ walk & still in a quiet area. Able to enjoy ambience & peace. Patio & parking space are another plus to the apartment.

The second bed is just outside the bedroom. My son used this bed & is ok for him. I think if it were for daughter, she might want more privacy. Nonetheless the apartment is nice.

Really lovely energy in the house and really kind hosts. We had all we needed and we felt really welcome. really appreciated the milk in the fridge, coffee in the cupboard and fresh flowers on the table when we arrived. We had a perfect stay in Glastonbury.

The open plan lounge kitchen dining area was lovely. Very clean & smart

The double bed positioning on the landing. It is a 1 bedroom apartment with the double bed on a landing. It can't be classified as a bedroom. There is no room for bedside table or a lamp. My friend was in the bedroom & walked through my sleep space to use the bathroom. I banged my head on the sloped landing ceiling so no chance of sitting up in bed in the morning. I felt the bathroom window could do with a blind as it's strange to have the light on & feeling very exposed. On the plus side the beds are comfortable, the shower hot , nice bedding & towels. This is not an apartment for people who like the dark as it's very very light at night as no curtains but light blunds

Lovely spacious apartment. Well equipped. We liked the patio space in the sun. Great that the apartment has its own parking space right outside. Very convenient walk into town for shopping and sightseeing. We only stayed one night but would be very comfortable there for longer. The owner is also a qualified masseuse - it would have been lovely to have a massage!
