Aminess Senses Hvar Resort

The location is great, there are lots of different activities available to do in close proximity to the resort.

The downstairs bar was not open in the evening after dinner. In our previous visits this area was used for after dinner entertainment, like playing cards with the family, or an after dinner drink with music playing the background. During our latest visit the upstairs bar was the only area open but it does not have the same atmosphere as the downstairs one, which is close to the water and away from the rooms. Therefore there was not much to do in the evenings after dinner.

Great location, nature, beach, water. Helpful staff. Children friendly.

Food isn’t so tasty, even though there are many options to choose from, everything has a similar taste. After few days, we opted to search for restaurants in nearby towns instead (even though we had a full board).

Proximity to ocean great, swimming pool is lovely. Accommodating attitude towards the cats in the area, food was good, bar prices reasonable, quiet and peaceful environment.

Some plants around the property need watering, more attention in improving the surrounding gardens.

Staff was very kind and helpful

Location of the hotel is very remote without any shops or market in the 4km radius. There is absolutely no any activity that you can do after the dinner. You can't drink a regular coffee (you can't count low quality coffee machine on breakfast-dinner) during the day or evening anywhere cause they decided suddenly to close the only bar (lobby bar). Beach bar is randomly opened during the day not following regular working hours. You can't buy even a bottle of water anywhere. Pool is very small, beach in front of the hotel is non-existent, full of cliffs, huge rocks and not a place to put a towel. There is no enough parking space for all the guests so you need to park on a forest road close to the main road. There is only a public beach that you have to walk to. Hotel is clearly understaffed and you can see it on a daily basis during multiple situations. Management needs to do improve significantly because this is definitely NOT a 4-star resort but more like budget 3-star hotel. Breakfast and dinner was okay, very bland and not innovative but the taste was fine.
