Not worth it, keep looking

Close to the beach, but be aware, at low tide there’s no beach but a large sand bank

The Host. Nobody there to receive you, to show you around or to help with your luggage up 3 flights of stairs. Self check in. Host refused to provide one extra toilet paper for our 4 night stay, told us to go buy it ourselves. It’s not about the cost it’s about the inconvenience of having to go somewhere and purchase it and shows the lack of interest to provide a good service The apartments and the facilities are old and very basic , the towels are old and smelly, there is no light in the stairs, super dark the whole stairs area. We stayed in 9 different places in Thailand for much less money that were in better condition and with better service

Отличное месторасположение: рядом классные рестораны и кофе Супер хозяйка: все рассказала, показала, организовала, была на связи.

Фото несколько не соответствуют номеру. Ремонт не был 5 лет. Раковина - течет. Унитаз спускает через боль. Дверь не прилегает плотно, поэтому ночевали с гекконом и пауком. Полотенце дали одно на человека и все: ни пляжного, не меняли в течении всего проживания.

Great views, but close to loud night life

Pretty and clean house with beautiful sea view. The bed is soft. The hosts were friendly and provided us a baby crib and a baby bath for free. It was very comfortable and the baby liked it. And also there were many blankets and wraps for baby that was super nice. There is laundry and bike rental right next to the property. Wi Fi was super fast!!! Balcony is amazing, you can watch sunset right from there.

The shower was that poor tropical style shower with barely hot water. The location just didn’t suit us because we were traveling with the baby. It is actually perfect for a solo traveler or a couple who likes to have active holiday with beach activities and night life. But for us it was just a bit too loud in the evenings, especially on weekends, there was a party at the closest bar which ended only at 1 am. So, if an early quiet sleep is what you need, think about another part of the island. But not considering this, the location is just perfect to go both to north coast and Thong Sala, and some pretty beaches along the East coast of the island. Another thing you have to know before you go there: take a universal adapter! I luckily had one and didn’t have trouble with a kettle with chinese plug that doesn’t fit Thai sockets at all.

Stunning seaview from the balcony

I had an amazing stay at this beautiful house with a stunning sunset sea view from the balcony 🥰 Everything was perfect, the house is very clean and cozy with everything I may need. It's just a 20 seconds walk from the beach with many nice restaurants and bars with live music. It is also a pleasure to walk along the beach at sunset watching the sun going down the sea ❤️

FABULOUS.

Everything ! This space is an absolute dream. The views are unbeatable, it had everything I could have asked for, and it was so comfy! If you are going to the island… this is THE spot. So centrally located too- but far enough from the “party” to really enjoy nature as well.

Very good location! Archie is so nice! very comfortable! We had our own kitchen which was great.

a lot of bugs, but we weren’t in the room all the time so it wasn’t so bad. I’d still recommend to stay there!

Overall a very enjoyable time. All the people we met were very friendly and always helpful.

The location was perfect for us as we spent a lot of time at the Inner Walk. The beach was about 50 steps from our door. There were a lot of good restaurants and coffee shops within a few minutes walk as well as a 7/11 store and 2 ATM's. It was no problem to hire a scooter for the 4 weeks at Hin Kong travel which was just before the beach, they also offered an excellent laundry service. We would be happy to stay there again

The front sliding door had gaps at the bottom and side so it was usual to have insects crawl in especially when it rained. The bathroom area could do with a bit of work, especially around the sink area.

Incredible Koh Phangan sunset view

-Super friendly and helpful owner -Very well designed and very clean house -Very spacious and fully equipped rooms & kitchen -Super comfortable furniture -Incredible sunset and jungle views from house no. 5 -10/10 points for the house and owners

I would definitely visit again, despite the following points. It is definitely complaining at a high level, because the house and owners themselves are really fantastic. But I feel I have to mention for other visitors: -The bars on the beach are competing against each other on who can play the louder Techno beat until midnight (sometimes 1 AM). I recommend going down to the bars instead of trying to sleep early. The bass can be heard even with ear plugs. It was no problem for us, since we sleep late, but if you are a sensitive early sleeper, you should know. -Some windows, as well as the main door don‘t close 100% tight, so hot air will come in. Also some small cute geckos. The main door doesn‘t feel 100% secure and should get a new lock, however this is no big problem since Koh Phangan is a safe island in general.

Pretty apartment with great ocean view

very beautiful view from upper apartments over the ocean, surrounded by lush nature, very comfy beds and pretty interior decoration.

if you stay there on the weekends it’s very loud from bars and restaurants close by playing music until late night. also the water pump outside is noisy at night. the host was not really supportive or empathic about that. another thing is that in the mornings there are yoga classes opposite your terrace, so you have no privacy until 11am

The perfect place to stay for a week, was great to make our own fruit shakes & breakfast!

Archie’s is located in a nice lovely area, not too far from Thongsala by scooter. Close to 7/11 for supplies & across the road to a fabulous French restaurant. Set back from the road so nice & quiet. Good adequately equipped kitchen, large bathroom with hot water & a comfortable bed & air con. Wifi was good 👍🏼 & a great spot for lovely sunsets

No tv but wasn’t an issue as we had an iPad.

the view and the location were great! the room is super spacious and amazing! nothing to complain! bed was big and comfortable, since I like hard mattresses! there was a fan and a A/C!

the stairs didn’t bother me at all, but for someone who maybe had mobility issues it could be hard to get up the stairs to the room!

Great stay in Hin Kong! Please visit

The rooms were big and spacious. it had a fully equipped kitchen and lots of storage for our stuff. so conveniently located and there was literally a bike rental next to the property. It was also light and breezy

The beds were too soft (not a big deal but just not my preference). We didn’t ask so it could be on us but there was no one coming to change the linen or take the trash for the week we were there so it is very much self service (again not a big deal we took our own trash out). We still thought the place was lovely and would return again.

It was really clean and cozy. The bungalow had a nice sea view of Hin Kong beach. Very well located with many good restaurants and cafes around. The owner gives you very good recommendations of the area and also provides transportation if needed.

Perfect location for all your needs!

Quiet and clean. Archie is amazing and helpful. I love being across from the beach and also having live music restaurants nearby. Also I love the bathtub!

Excellent place to stay on Koh Phangan

The bungalow is so beautiful, cozy and quiet and veeery clean. The hosts are very nice and friendly people always ready to help. There was everything I needed there. The bungalow is next to the beach where you can get a beautiful walk at sunset. 'Alcove' the best French restaurant on the island is right opposite Archie Village with a charming atmosphere, delicious food and French wine of course. 7/11 store is 5 min walk from the house and you can rent a bike on the spot at Archie village at a good price. I liked everything and will definitely stay here again. Highly recommend 😉
