J'ai beaucoup aimé le cachet ancien de la chambre et l'ensemble du bàtiment en coursives avec sa piscine au milieu . Le petit déjeuner ne satisfera pas les amateurs de gros petit déj continental mais il a répondu à mes besoins (1 oeuf!) ;

Très bel endroit historique au coeur de Hoult Souk, dans une rue tranquille. Beaucoup de charme. Grande chambre donnant sur le calme du patio.
Petit déjeuner un peu basique. La wifi ne répond pas trop bien à certains endroits ou certains moments.

First, you have to understand that this is a caravansary and not a modern hotel. With this in mind, the place was amazing! It was like stepping back in time hundreds of years - although they have installed running water and even air-conditioning to the rooms. Sure, many things could be repaired and maintained better (for example the toilet seat was not well fixed to the floor and was a bit wobbly, and the shower drain was clogged), but that just adds to its charm. If you're a history geek or just want to experience something different than the generic modern-style hotel rooms then this is a place for you! They ask a payment in advance with a bank transfer which sounded a bit suspicious but in the end everything went very well. The food in the restaurant is very good but quite expensive at local standards.
The restaurant/bar in the courtyard and the mosque next door are very loud. The old wooden door made of a few planks doesn't insulate any noise. Also some cigarette smoke from the bar came to the room. On a Friday evening a religious ceremony in the mosque lasted until 10:30 pm and the bar was open until 11 pm. After that it got quiet for sleeping. The complimentary breakfast is very small, only tea/coffee, juice, an egg, white bread with spreadings, and a muffin.

Très bonne situation. Personnel disponible et réactif. Ambiance soir sympa. Possibilité de se restaurer.
Le bruit du fait du bar resto au dessous des chambres mais jusqu'à 23h donc il faut juste le savoir.
