Everything about this hotel was great! Great staff, great rooms, great breakfast, great location. Everything was excellent. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone! We had a large group of over 20 and it surpassed out needs and expectations.
There wasn't anything we did not like. It was all great. I would hapily stay here again. and I would easily recommend this to anyone for future stays. And the Danube is a short 5 minute walk through a park.

The rooms and bathroom are clean, staff is very friendly and polite. Breakfast is served good.
Price for a room could be a little lower.

It was centrally located in Galati, with a number of shops and food outlets nearby, easily reached from the train station.
The air conditioner in my room was terribly, and erratically, noisy. I had to keep it off most of the time, despite the fact that it was very hot outside. I was shocked that Ibis Hotels would rent out a room with an air conditioner in such a state. Do they not check these things? The breakfast, while not very inspiring would have been okay, but the breakfast room was so small and cramped it was not very pleasant to spend any time there. The mini-bar (fridge) did not keep things very cold.
