Single rooms are located in neighboring building and they are literally single rooms in 3-bedroom apartment with one bathroom. All rooms have access from the kitchen, so in case other rooms are rented, there can be a problem with noise from kitchen. Kitchen is equipped for basic cooking, also some tea and coffee is available. there was a bottle of water prepared in the room, what was nice. Washbasin in the room is a plus. Breakfast open buffet was very good, especially because of really high quality of all food. Variety of high-end cheeses, including goat cheese. They are buying from artesan bakeries, farms and small producers. List of suppliers is on the wall. I made some photos when the breakfast time was finishing, so don´t take halfempty trays as a standard. The staff was nice and helpful. Overally very clean.
If you are planning to rent the room during the summer month - DO NOT DO IT! All three single rooms inside of apartment are directed to the south facing the quite noisy street. But the biggest problem is temperature and lack of air conditioning. Temperature inside was matching the temperature outside plus extremely high humidity from the old walls. It was impossible to sleep in 30 degrees. Windows seal very poor with only one layer of glass. You can feel the hot air coming through. I couldnt believe how ignorant providers of accommodation are to this fact. I was lucky to be alone in the apartment, so at midnight I opened the door to the kitchen and let window open for whole night. That one was oriented to the courtyard so at least little colder air was coming in my room. But the night was overally terrible. The apartment is on the first floor of medieval building which has naturally great cooling properties, but they are unable to use it. I think even as for a protected building they could install airconditioning unit at least to the kitchen. Or install some pipes to transport cooled air from the stairs and halls to the apartment.
