Amazing stay at Tethys Himalayan Den Chicham

Beautiful cosy property with an amazing view. Mohit and Srinivasa were very helpful prior to the visit, as well as on day of. Since the weather situation was grim in Himachal, Mohit also kept checking in with us and sharing updates so that we could plan the rest of our trip accordingly. The staff at the property were also very helpful! We had a great time, would definitely come back here.

Relaxing with adventurous and view to die for!

Beautiful location right at end of the pristine n calm chicham village, overlooking the highest bridge from a higher ground with kibber/tashigang in sight, the with all amenities, ample parking space, delicious food, best for celestial lovers, best hosts!

Great Adda place at an altitude over 4000mtr above sea level in subzero :-)

Difficult to imagine a place like this in Chicham !!! They provide you with all amenities , unlimited tea & coffee . Dining area is the place is to chill ,where one can spend hours together gazing vast wide angle view with basking sun , cold breeze and sipping black coffee !! its a Adda place . Faizul and team are too good and informative . Pls keep it up :) Fellow Travellers - pls acclimatise well till you reach this place - travel slow.

Moisturiser in washroom is greatly needed :) - Just a suggestion , Rest is Superb at this altitude !

Spectacular views, disappointing food.

The location is excellent with lovely views from our room. Please confirm which room to book as some of the rooms may not have the best views.

Breakfast was terrible. The Poha was full of small pebbles coming in our mouth.

Fantastic stay in Spiti valley

The room is as shown in the pictures, and pictures don't do justice to what the room offers. Has amazing views of the snow mountains, the valley, Chicham bridge, Chicham village, beautiful starry sky in the night, and lot more. The hosts are incredibly helpful. Special shoutout to Mohit, Ritu & Faizu for making the stay as comfortable as possible, in the cold weather, and through altitude sickness. The food served for dinner (paid) and for breakfast (complimentary) is really good. The effort to provide such tasty, home-like food with a good variety of items in such a remote area is much appreciated. The dining room, where all the guests (and sometimes hosts as well) eat is a fantastic socializing spot. One gets to hear and share awesome stories of their journies and experiences with the folks around. Any number of words are not sufficient to describe this awesome place. Please stay here and experience it. Final note: Please make sure you are prepared for the altitude and cold to make your stay more pleasant, and to avoid unnecessary discomforts of the mountain region.

What a stay we had

We liked it all. Lovely stay, great accomodation, everything is great. The host is so responsive to everything and we liked that very much.

short stay but satisfatory from services and location point of view

Staff was freindly and cooperative. They tried to do their best to keep the guests happy. Food was decent like home cooked. Hotel is situated close to Chicham bridge (basically you can see the bridge from Dining area.

approach road to hotel is not good. electricity availability was an issue

Superb

Very comfortable stay. Rooms are extremely warm and very tastefully designed. The scenery is breathtaking. The staff, especially Faizullah, were very accommodating. Staying in a place like Chicham in itself is an experience!

Food was very average and expensive. Just, fyi, there was no electricity most of the time (not just in the property, but entire of Chicham - which we were told is very usual), however that didn't really hamper our stay.

Our best experience in India!

Staying at Mohit place has been a wonderful experience for us. The guesthouse is located in Chicham, a charming and authentic village. We received the best attention from Mohit and Faizu, they treated us like brothers would do, always giving us good advice regarding hikes and places to visit but also in taking care of providing anything we needed. Last but not least was the quality of food offered for breakfast and dinner, the food was just amazing and it is quite incredible in such a remote location. Congratulations, you guys are doing an amazing job.

It's a hidden treasure to explore. The location is one to savour. One would be amazed by the level of comfort and luxury you get at such an isolated place. The views are breath taking. The host Mohit makes you feel at home. Faizula is a gem as he takes care of your every small detail and keeps a good company. The only problem is that OF High Altitude Sickness for those prone to it. Thanks to Mohit and the staff for a stay worth remembering.
