lovely situation, and nice property. everything worked as expected. Kitchen facilities and provided BBQ all good.
There was mould on one of the bed sheets, and a pie of food in the garden when we arrived.

Cottage was very clean & spotless with a very spacious entrance hall & kitchen.
Fowl smell coming from the oil burner on entering. Sustained odour throughout our stay despite opening the entrance windows throughout. Oil burner is overdue for service. On highlighting this, staff all seem indifferent. There were no hair dryers available. Very unusual for a cottage of this quality. No extra duvets or blankets either & the duvet given was quite thin. No logs provided. No information given on the central heating schedule. A lovely cottage, a pity in the lack of attention to detail. Staff contacted were either unresponsive or took until the next day to respond to a couple of my queries.
