Location, a private car park friendly staff
Wi-Fi only functional in lounge area, no Wi-Fi connection in bedrooms. The absence of smoke fire alarms within all areas of the accommodation. Poor water pressure when both showers in use

The location is excellent, especially for anyone arriving by train. It feels lively in the day, but very quiet at night (we slept with windows open). The apartment was very clean and functional - the kitchen was large and well stocked, and having two bathrooms was great. The staff at reception were very responsive and helpful.
We weren't aware in advance that the parking for this particular apartment is in a different location - not an issue for us, but could be a problem for some. The door handles inside the apartment need some maintenance - at one point a handle fell off and a bedroom could only be opened from outside (although the rest of the apartment was in good shape).

Great standard of accommodation and great location for the center of Sintra, however be prepared to climb steps and hills. Very convenient car parking.
Driving past the hotel reception to the accommodation and then realising its a long one way system so had a 10 min walk to register and get keys, be aware and check its location. I was advised but overlooked this.
We were there in a heat wave and some of the attractions were closed due to fire risk.

The lady at the reception in the hotel where we collected the keys was a great help. The location was good as we could easily walk up to the old town or down to the new part and railway station.
The apartment had a musty smell every time we opened the front door. There was clearly some damp in the property as it could be felt on our clothes that we had left lying in our rooms.
