It had the Japanese style of bed and flooring which was nice. Also having a washing machine was quite fortunate.
The beds could use a little bit more padding, it was a little tough on the back. Though that might be because we’re used to sleeping on mattresses.

Yado Hachiemon was clean, comfortable, and quiet. We slept great and loved having the kitchenette and bathroom with tub. The hosts provided multiple redundant emails with all the instructions we needed, which was extremely helpful. Because of that, getting there and checking in was smooth as could be. The location is also amazing. It is barely a hundred yards from Shoten-Dori, a local restaurant street with many options for food. We ate excellent yakitori at ToriMaru, only a block away. The proximity to Fukushima Station was also great for all the places in Osaka we wanted to go. I would stay here again and recommend it to friends.
I have no criticisms, only advice to future guests. Be aware that the breakfast is small packaged foods. Both mornings we received a pastry and a yogurt. While convenient, I personally needed a little more food for breakfast (others in my party were fully satisfied with the breakfast we received, so your mileage may vary). Also be aware that you need to go down to the lobby if you want hot coffee in the morning, they have coffee machines down there.

The location to Fukushima station is great. The staff were very responsive. The breakfast each morning was great. The apartment was very clean.
The description said the apartment was two rooms, bedroom and separate living area. However it is just one big room. For four people (two adults and two teenagers) it wasn’t a lot of room. The futons were thinner than others we had in Japan, so not overly comfortable. I think it you’re a couple, then it would be fine.
