The only downside was the hard mattress. We understand that everyone has different tastes in mattress, but these seemed more than just firm.

Totally new hotel in the quiet end of town. Very nice and helpful host, but they only speak portuguese. With the help of Google Translate it is possible to talk with the host couple and they really try all there best to make you’re stay nice.
Very nice breakfast, served in the livingroom at the entrance of the hotel.
The view from the balcony is nice.
The hotel is located very close to Dos Anjos Beach, but you don’t want to use that beach, because it’s very dirty and smelly. The sewage just ran directly into to the bay, so you want to go to the beach on the other side of town, Praia Grande, which is a hole other story with nice and clean water and a beautiful sunset. Unfortunately this beach is over 1 km away and the town is not that nice.
The rooms are way to small, when you are a family of four and the aircondition in our room was located only 50 cm over the top bunker, which made it useless because of the wind and the noice from the aircondition. We were to adults and two kids and I would not recommend to be more than two in the rooms.
I would have preferred to stay next to Praia Grande where the best beach and the best restaurants are located.
The hotel is ok for a short stay.
