Fantastic Place, Great Location and Aesthetic

Location is central to amenities and close proximity to a lot of the places I was able to access. I also like the security measures taken to ensure safety with their biometric facial recognition system.

Great clean room near the Uni

Super clean room with kitchen facilities and smart tv and heater. Lovely lounge area with games and good wifi throughout

Nice stay

They have a mini-gym (which can get crowded quite quickly)

Check in was pretty long (30 minutes) and with a little bit of confusion (only one employee had to deal with the multiple questions from several guests/students) Restaurant close by (walkable distance) are only fast-food

Bad and inconvenience stay

The location is good

No laundry availabe , when requested informed me it will take >48 hrs to get the clothes. There is no room cleaning for the whole stay . No toiletries provided , no towels change for 4 days . Room is very hot , no exhaustion fan in toilet , if you open the room window night time it's noisy and insects will come inside ( no net protection on the window, at least if this is the only way to ventilate the room ). ROOM IS FULL OF COCKROACHES ALLOVER ON BED CABINETS TOILET AND THE FRIDGE. THIS WAS VERY BAD AND UNHEALTHY, YOU CAN'T KEEP FOOD OR JUICE OUTSIDE THE FRIDGE . I had to make sure all my belongings were clean before I went back home . I think booking needs to review this facility again as a trustable booking website .

They double booked us, still waiting for refund for the one night that I did not stay there.

We was double booked so we are still waiting for one night payment refund its been over a month now. Had to look for alternative accommodation at midnight.

they double booked me and when i arrived at the venue there wasnt anywhere for me to sleep.

Vibrant solo traveling

I want to acknowledge the many positive aspects of my experience. The staff has been exceptionally friendly, creating a welcoming atmosphere throughout the facility. The gym, in particular, stood out to me; it surpasses other hotel gyms, providing an impressive fitness space. Moreover, the room amenities exceeded my expectations. The size of the fridge caught my attention, and the inclusion of a stove, pots, and microwave in the kitchen was a delightful surprise. **Negative Points:** On the flip side, it's important to note that, like any situation, there are areas that could be improved. However, I believe the positive aspects outweigh the negative, contributing to an overall favorable experience.

I requested an earlier check-in at 11:00, shortly after my booking I received an email stating that my check-in time has been approved. Even tho it was approved for 11:00, I still ran a bit late and arrived at the hotel at 13:30 to which I was told that no rooms are available and check-in is only at 14:00. I showed the staff member the approved check in time email but she replied that it was not approved by her and she can't help me until 14:00. I proceeded to wait until 14:00. Still no check in. I showed my patience is running low by walking up and down reception area. At around 14:15 I was only assisted to check in. I was no running late for my next appointment so I quickly put my bags in the room and rushed out. When I arrived at the face scanner at the garage. It didn't recognize my face and flashed "stranger" I had to park my car again and walk towards reception and let them know I can't go out. They opened the gate for me and said they will sort the issue out and won't have any problems coming back in. Towards the evening I came to the garage scanner and it had the same problem. I called reception and told them I cannot come in. They said they will open for me. After about 7 min of waiting nothing happened and I had to get out of my car again, waited for someone else to scan their face at the main door for me to get in and finally told reception I need to come in. It took me around 20 min all and all just to get into the hotel again. The evening staff captured my face once more and from there it was smooth sailing. I had a much better experience with the evening staff than with the earlier staff. Don't know why the pervious staff team couldn't just capture my face correctly since it was very easily done by the latter team.

Loved the property, but I almost missed my flight due to being kicked out of the system prematurely

My room was cosy and very clean and parking was provided for me in the basement. Friendly staff as well.

The property uses facial recognition as an access measure and my profile was disabled before my check out time. This almost led to me missing a flight. The emergency number does not help as there is little reception inside the property. They just keep yelling they can't hear on the other hand. Property management responds to messages timeously before your stay but stops responding when you're there and after your depature. I have been asking for some documents since Thursday and till now there has been no response.

It was very interesting and also very safe and clean place to stay.

Very kind staff. The check in man went out of his way to arrange alles and make me comfortable and explained everything. The security features: you have to go in with facescan, he had to teach me this. The parking is convenient. The place is clean. Amazing to find yourself amongst students.

One can only pay with card, even a 20R sweet has to be paid with card. There is a big tv BUT NO CHANNELS!!!! One is expected to bring one's own Netflix code or whatever , stuff we are not famiiar with and do not have. I found it hard to be without tv and newschannels and no movie nothing to watch. I think this shoudl be mentioned on the Booking.com website!! Happened to me a second time in NEIGHBOURGOOD hotel in CapeTown. You sit and look at the wall talk to yourself , in strange hotelroom away from home. no tv channels.

VERY SIMPLE. Funky, youthful, techy and energetic environment.

Good location. Easy to reach: Police station next door, Hospitals nearby, Cape Town airport, The N1 freeway for your cpt-jhb road trip, or Cape Town cbd. Access to gym and entertainment area in the campus, covered parking for us. Secure generally.

Not really a complaint, so the student music was a bit loud but, they stopped the loud music sometime in the evening, I slept well - I’ve been a student before so no judgement really.. Street vagrants were messing with someone’s car wheel who parked outside the campus.

Place is another definition of the word beauty 💞

The place is right at the center of everything from transportation to food wise... I love the security checks and inside the set up.. The Gym giving out the vigirn active experience and not forgetting the cleanliness in general.. The only thing I always get a little upset about the place is No soap in the shower.. For my second time I had to buy myself soap but that's not a big problem to worry about, bottom line is that I always enjoy the hospitality and the stuff is hospitable, I give you guys 10/10

We had a wonderful problem checking in using the word Wonderful because on the way the guy handled the issue, booked online only to get there to find out that there was no room available for us... We waited for a long period to get a room but it was handled with love and care so we really didn't feel anything bad at all, every now and then the guy was always updating us with calmness and in a proper manner making it easy for us to absorb the stress with ease .. The host was way too good Only the issue of no soap in the shower but that's not a problem.. Am loving this place.. Can't wait for my third visit soon.

Great location, comfort and friendly staff.

The accommodation is a student place. The place exceeded my expectations. The location is great and super safe as it has a police station right next door. It also has a KFC, a Chiken Licken and other shops. The staff are super receptive and friendly. It has a gym, games room and much more. The room has everything you need and is super comfortable.

Nothing to complain. I loved everything!

A fantastic stay in a safe, affordable and convenient facility that is customer centric.

The Location is good, and the customer support and care are excellent. Adequate and clean room and safe environment. The facility is great and cool for a variety of purposes, including study and vacation.

There is nothing that I did not like about the facility.

Comfortable and clean room. Good wifi strength. Secure, biometric system.

My room was in a smoking area, so it reeked of cigarette smoke. Bathroom floor was wet when I arrived. Had to ask for toilet paper.
