Beautiful room with fantastic views (also from the shower and the communal pool). And nothing can beat that private hammock ☺️. I liked how small scale the property is. It’s right in the middle of nature; be prepared to see gekko’s, squirrels, dragonflies (and sadly also mosquitos, as is everywhere on the island), and so on. The staff was very attentive and super helpful. It’s perfect for a serene retreat.
The remoteness is both a pro and a con: it’s quiet, but it also means that if you want to leave the premises, you need to go by bike or taxi.
Although the food at the restaurant was adequate, it would be a bit limited if you are staying longer.

Excellent villa, with stunning views and within walking distance to Tanote Bay. The villa was extremely clean, the staff were super friendly, including Wey the barman and Nat who is the villa manager worked incredibly hard, looking after us and all the other guests. She made our stay perfect.

Friendly bartender, great cocktails and food
Nice secluded location for couples, but as friends travelling together we felt a bit out of place
Power cuts out every 5 minutes at night, room was quite stuffy so we didn't sleep well.
Location is very remote, hotel small and not much to do.
Taxi prices were pretty extortionate – we were 6 people going to the ferry on the last day and they charged us 150 baht each (so 900 baht total for a 6 minute journey). This was actually a taxi organised by the hotel!
