The property was located about 35–40 minutes from Alba and roughly 1 hour and 20 minutes south of Torino, nestled in hills blanketed with vineyards and hazelnut orchards. This area is renowned for producing some of the finest wines in the world, with the famous Fontanafredda winery just a 15-minute drive from our B&B. Our room was beautifully decorated by our hostess Giuseppa, featuring elegant furnishings and pristine linens. We slept in a comfortable antique bed dating back to the 19th century. Breakfast was served in a spacious, cozy kitchen that doubled as the owners’ kitchen and breakfast room, where some family members enjoyed their morning coffee.
I wish we had more time to stay and explore.
