Super verblijf met geweldige gastheer-vrouw!

Dit was wat men noemt een toplocatie met dito gastvrouw en gastheer. Enorm gastvrije ontvangst en verblijf in een grote slaapkamer, fijne badkamer, gebruik totale keuken en zelfs buiten was een fijne ruimte voor de gasten. Top!!

The BEST place to stay when visiting Yosemite

Everything was just PERFECT. We truly recommend this place to anyone, who's planning a visit to Yosemite NP. The hosts, Ellen and Neil, were so lovely, friendly, and sweet. They gave us plenty of recommendations and updates on the area and Yosemite park, which we visited during our stay. They made us feel BETTER THAN AT HOME, and made the atmosphere in their lovely home super cozy, friendly, and so positive. They made us feel welcome 100% of the time, with perfect portion of privacy and we had no feeling of being 'visitors' any of the time, rather than it being 'common home of all of us' - SO NICE! :) The area around is lovely, you really feel connected to the nature and not feeling the rush of a city or busy roads. The facilities were more than satisfying. Very nice bedroom, really comfortable bed (we slept like babies after the hikes:)), fully equipped kitchen, our own fully equipped bathroom with soft towels and nice lavender soap - and the additional toothbrushes in case we forgot ours (that was a very nice touch :)), beautiful seating indoor area, and gorgeous outdoor seating, where we would enjoy our breakfasts with the sound of birds singing. If we could, we'd give 15 out of 10 points to this place and to our hosts. And if we're coming back to the Yosemite area, this place would be definitely on top of our list. Thank you very much, Ellen & Neil, for this amazing 'home away from home' experience. :)

Brilliant

Brilliant living experience! Home owners Ellen and Neil are very nice person, room is extremely clean and cozy. oak trees surround the house, birds are singing. Weather is chill and dry which I love it! It’s quite at night, you can seat outside and enjoy it.

Super friendly welcome by Ellen & Neil, extremely comfortable room (incl. the bed), loverly terrace to look at the stars/enjoy breakfast... 11/10 rating, if it would be possible - best stay of our roadtrip so far, 100% recommendation!

The best booking experience so far! Neil and Ellen are extremely accommodating and kind, the room was very cozy, clean and the bed was just heavenly. We were charmed by the beautiful garden and a patio in which we had our morning coffee, over all 10 stars!

You won’t find a nicer, safer property and definitely won’t find better hosts.

my hosts were two of the nicest people I have ever met. As a solo traveller away from home, they gave me a warm welcome and went out of their way to make my stay as smooth as possible and made me feel so so at home. The property is lovely, and sits in a safe, quiet area of Coarsegold and is a great location for those visiting Yosemite. This was by far my favourite destination to stay and this was only (sadly) a few days of a 5 week trip. i just wish it was longer. Words are not enough when it comes to my hosts, they are the best. Thank you again so much.

Just Perfect.

Exactly as advertised! The property was perfect for what we wanted. After two weeks spent in busy hotels, this was the most peaceful way to end our trip. Ellen and Neil were so friendly and helpful. They made us feel right at home. The patio area with local wildlife was so lovely and a great way to end a big day hiking in Yosemite (with a glass of wine)! Supermarket just 3 minute drive away! with everything we needed. Thanks again for the perfect stay.

if you like home stays this place is for you…

Owners are nice… This is a homestay, so you share the space with the them. You have a private bedroom and bathroom. Shower was fantastic!

The listing said air conditioning as that was my main reason to book this room but on our first day it was 98 degrees and the aircon was tucked away in the closet, not in use. The first nite was brutally hot and tough sleeping for sure.

Such a gorgeous property. quiet and calm. beautiful outdoor facilities. Neil and Ellen were very accommodating and welcoming. we felt very comfortable and welcome.

It was beautiful. the only thing we would say, is that perhaps a shutter door would provide more privacy that a curtain in the kitchen area?

Nice place, nice hostess

A very comfortable room in a lovely house. Nice, interactions with the the lady of the house. Right temperature and appointments for a guest.

It was fine but a bit hard to find and out of the way. Overall, lovely, however.

Short, but extremely relaxing after a LONG day of hiking.

Such a wonderful home, tucked in the nicest valley near Yosemite. 11/10 would recommend to others and we cannot wait to return!
