About this house rental
Located in Little Elm, this attractive house for $145 per night is a fantastic choice for your next trip. Lake front studio is located on 2 1/2 acres of grass and majestic oak trees. There are solar string lights in the trees that come on at night creating an enchanting wonderland. This lake front gem sports a fully stocked kitchen. Washer and Dryer. Luxurious bath with two person whirlpool tub and two person double shower head shower. Your own private deck to enjoy the sunset. Invite friends and family for s'mores at the fire pit. Come have a mini staycation . Take the complimentary kayaks, paddle boards, or canoes out or bring your own boat. A Boat ramp is quite close. Run away from the hustle of the city. Watch the wind blow the water. Drift away with the clouds. Guest should know that we are in unincorporated Denton County. When you turn on Doe Branch Road you will drive past some trailer houses and junk cars. I share this with you, so you, might not judge my neighbors. It is extremely quiet and safe out here. If you are looking to escape the concrete jungle, then you have found your peace and calm. Located on Lake Lewisville; We are 10 min from Legacy West in Frisco. 10 min from the mall in Frisco. 10 min from the cowboys new stadium. 10 min from downtown Denton. 12 min from Prosper. 5 min from Aubrey. There are two short term rentals on site. Our property is 2 1/2 acres with the cottage on the far left and the studio on the far right. The owner lives on site in the main house.

We spent a couple of nights in The Studio and the space is great for a couple. The only thing that could be improved is the bed as it was a bit firm. Regardless, we would love to return and enjoy the outdoor amenities once it is warmer!

Beautiful property! The studio is super nice. We had four people and it was very spacious still. We grilled and used the oven to make chicken nuggets. We had a fire and the dogs enjoyed running around. They even played in the water a little. Lots of blankets, towels, firewood, all the kitchen things you could need! It was really relaxing and we will definitely be coming back.

We very much enjoyed our stay here. We were in for the weekend and are so glad we stayed here. We enjoyed breakfast and dinners on the porch, sitting by the lake, fire at night, and watching the wildlife. Would highly recommend staying here. Very peaceful.

My husband and I stayed here with our two dogs and had a wonderful stay! We needed a reset from our jobs and life, and this literally felt like we traveled farther out than we did. It was private, quiet, and the listing was even nicer inside when we got there than the pictures. We had everything we needed and more. Just bring clothes and food and you are ready to enjoy this property! We especially loved it because it is dog friendly. We were able to let our dogs swim and retrieve all afternoon for two days. It was what we all needed. We are so grateful for our stay and we will make plans to book again. Thank you!

This stay was absolutely lovely! Our only flaw was that we were only able to stay 2 nights! I couldve spent our entire trip just at our VRBO reading or hanging out but we just didn't get the chance to do that. We will 100% be returning as soon as possible!

What a nice, relaxing, peaceful get away. My husband and I stayed here with our mini golden doodle while my son was at soccer camp. We enjoyed the beautiful lake views and awesome sunsets. The strong wi-fi was much appreciated since we were both still working during the day. The owner was friendly and easy to communicate with. The studio was nicely decorated and had everything you needed including a full kitchen. We enjoyed lunch and dinner on the patio and evenings out by the lake. We enjoyed our stay!

We surprised out son with a trip to stay on this property. He had asked for a lake birthday and we decided to make it extra special by booking somewhere to make things more exciting, instead of going to the lake down the road from our house. 45 minutes and we were able to leave all the normal distractions behind. The property was absolutely beautiful and relaxing. Even for a family of 5 including a 9 year old, 6, year old and 9 months old, there was plenty of space and we had everythibg we needed to be completely comfortable. Even with the pull out bed and the main bed we were still able to fit a play pin.
We had a cook out on our dull day and the entire family that came loved it. We had plenty of space on the patio to grill, eat and hangout. The fans on the patio allow for a pretty comfortable space, even in the middle of a Texas summer. There were plenty of kayaks and boats for everyone to use at the same time as well as plenty of games in the yard like cornhole, giant Jenga, big wooden tik tak toe and dice, baby swing, tire swing and even a swing closer to the lake. So much seating by the lake including tables. The lighting at night was beautiful they have outside chanfileres having from the trees as well as trees wrapped in lights.
It was truly a beautiful place to stay wether you are having family and friends together to cookout, swim and play outside or you want to come alone or as a couple just to get away from the hustle and bustle and relax by the water.

I loved the property. The check in directions were specific & clear. The inside was well kept. This is a small space but perfect for a couple. There is everything you need there. Just buy any food you might want to keep in the fridge. We even got fresh baked cookies from Diana & Ken. Make sure u enjoy at least 1 sunset. It's amazing.

Biggest disappointment was being given the incorrect code to unlock the door and losing 30+ minutes of our first night's plans. Host was very responsive and the view did not disappoint! I will definitely plan another stay there!

My wife and I, along with our two small dogs, stayed at the cottage on the lake for a week. We were visiting my elderly parents who are in Allen TX but wanted to have a more peaceful time as opposed to a hotel nearby. We enjoyed staying here very much. It was the perfect setting to relax and watch the sun set over the lake. Would definitely stay here again.

It was a very cute studio! Perfect for my son and I. They had cornhole that we played with. My son fished and we used the kayaks they had there. The weather kept us more then what we wanted to, but we would definitely come back!!!

A delightful surprise when you walk into the cottage. Tastefully decorated, everything you need for a short or longer stay. Beautiful peaceful setting on the lake. The only complaint was the couch is in need of a good cleaning. We covered it with one of the blankets… than all good!!

I was having a lot of stress due to a heavy workload and so was my partner. We were able to bring both dogs who had such a ball with all of the open space and the water.. will definitely recommend to friends family and everyone. For sure coming back. The only bad thing I can say is I can't give any more stars as this place deserves more than 5.

Just about everything about our stay was great! It was very convenient, beautiful views, quiet, and peaceful. Exactly what we wanted. The only thing that I could suggest or comment on, is the bed was not very friendly. We both hurt from the stiffness of the bed the next day. The lighting on the patio was not quite enough for grilling. The check out time would be great if it could be extended just to allow time to sleep in a little, and maybe enjoy a nice breakfast the next morning before heading out. Even though there were a few things we were not super thrilled about, we definitely have talked about booking this property again and maybe even getting family or friends to book the other one for the weekend at the same time so we can all enjoy the space and view together.

We decided to bring in the new year here and it was absolute perfection. The studio had everything we needed and some bonus stuff, too. We enjoyed kayaking and waking the dogs along the lakeshore. Ken and Diana had great hospitality. This studio felt like a slice of Heaven- so peaceful and inviting. I highly recommend it. So glad it was available!!

This was my second time at this little sweet spot exactly one year later and I felt right at home again. It is so peaceful, relaxing, & quiet. So fun to be able to use the kayaks, fire pit area, games, etc. They provide everything you need & you also might get a sweet surprise the morning of check out!

Diana and Ken have a slice of heaven in their property! We stayed in the studio and it was a great find! The view through the French doors of the lake is beautiful, and the gradual slope of the property from our door to the water allows for a great walk with the dogs! The bathroom is lovely, the bed comfy, and the linens are very nice! IF we had wanted to cook, the kitchen is completely stocked, we've never stayed anywhere with such a selection of appliances ! Thank you again !!

I can't say enough wonderful things about Diana and Ken. They helped make my daughter's special day perfection. The Bride and Groom were over the moon with the location and the event. If yoy are looking for an intimate get away or the perfect venue for a small gathering, you will not find a better place!

It was nice and quiet. Just what we needed a few days to ourselves. Do bring bug spray if during mosquito season there were lots out there and was hard to enjoy the patio at night. No fault of property owner.

We booked this property because we had tickets to a concert in Arlington. After checking in and seeing everything the property had to offer, we didn’t want to go to the concert. The rental is lakefront so beach chairs, umbrellas, canoes and kayaks are lined at the waters edge ready for use. The unit was so cute and very well decorated. From the super comfortable bed, whirlpool tub, walk in shower with 2 shower heads to the washer and dryer, this place was literally home away from home. We fished all day and caught plenty of fish. The owners were available 24/7 and we’re very welcoming. We will definitely be back.

Such a great location, you feel very secluded from the hustle and bustle of the world around you, yet close enough to access major restaurants, shopping etc. The property owners are so nice too and make you feel right at home! We had an awesome experience and will definitely return in the future!
