The house is in the middle of the woods so it is very quiet and feels secure. The owner has multiple properties in the ground and in fact the house where we stayed was divided into separate rent units but you do not actually interfere with other guests. You have your own door, keys, and part of the house. It was very couzy, you get all that you need and the host, Xavier, was amazing.

What a special place. Hidden in the forest, Xavier and his wife have done an amazing job developing their property for guests. The gite was immaculate and he also helped us tremendously with booking visits to some very special restaurants and champagne houses (he didn't have to do this, but he is a super nice guy). The kids got to feed their goats, we saw boar, fox and deer wild in the surrounding forest. Just beautiful.
It was perfect - HIGHLY recommend.

The upkeep of the property should be better; the lamp in the bathroom was hanging, there was a huge hole in the bathroom wall, and there was only 1 towel, no face towel was provided, and some room decorations were left from Christmas and Easter

The area, the cosy house, the facilities, the host(!!!). We had a great walk through the forest. Me and all my friends were very glad we had such a great host. Xavier was super friendly, he helped with all of our questions but also helped when we didn’t even asked for it. He really took the extra mile with amazing breakfastbread, help with the walk and whatsapping us about some noise that may occor.
The house and surroundings were amazing. A bit too cold for the pool unfortunately.
