It’s hard to be the location. It’s basically right on the beach and it’s a small laid-back fishing town and I believe it’s the only hotel in town. The common area is very nice with old wood staircase with some originally painted art and an extremely nice staff. They have a decent breakfast in the morning.
A couple minor things such as the only garbage can in the room was the garbage can next to the toilet to put soiled toilet paper in. Obviously another garbage can was needed to put other waist that was non-toilet related into. There was also some mold in the shower that is not that uncommon when you’re at a beachfront property with all the moisture. Some of the wall paint in the room was cracked, and again I think a lot of it is the salt air and moisture. Needless to say, it’s still due for a little updating.

Best room of our trip & that includes a stay at the Hyatt in Madrid, Staff was outstanding, room was very nice & super clean. Access to the beach was 50 steps. All in all an outstanding value and a beautiful hotel

the staff were very kind and the food was brilliant! also the beach is stunning
it was ok but the bedrooms are very loud with the constant rattling and slamming of heavy doors, also be wary if staying for caminho there are almost no arrows/markers on this part of the trail either in or out of town.
