Could not have been better

Stayed in the middle of winter it was so warm and cozy. Beautiful setting and my dog was made very welcome. Very comfy bed, great hosts, wanted for nothing. Would highly recommend

definitely will stay there again, the hosts gave lovely tomatoes from their garden and had flowers on table when arrived

A great place to stay

Marie and David were awesome hosts. We had the whole cottage to ourselves and were able to do our washing too. It's a little out of town but nice and quiet. It had everything we needed.

Cosy and comfortable in Invercargill

Down South Cottage was prefect for our two night stay. The bedding was great and the unit was cosy and comfortable. The garden surroundings were very nice and the cottage was fairly private.

The bathroom/toilet was a tad small, but it was ok. Cooking was a bit restrictive, but nothing really of concern. The location was right on the edge of town, but again no big deal.

A lovely relaxing stay in a comfortable cottage within a gorgeous garden.

A very comfortable 2BR cottage in a beautiful, private, garden setting with all practical amenities. Marie was very welcoming (her vase of her garden flowers and the fresh tomatoes were much appreciated). Good storage options for those of us who like to unpack (especially for 3 nights), bonus access to Sky Sport to watch the cricket, private garden setting - and we also appreciate drying the washing in the sun :-) It was a short drive into Invercargill.

Quibbles/suggestions only (we loved the cottage) - a side table for use with the sofa and with the outdoor chairs would have been great (rest the drinks, the phones, the books); the one bedroom window without a privacy/net curtain was the one facing the street & driveway - the other two windows were totally private and the third would have allowed in more light during the day; the shower curtain doesn't quite reach the wall at both ends ... wet floor.

Family gathering. Great spot very safe for the two year old to explore the garden . Spacious unit

Private . Lovely private garden with outside seating area. Great sized stand alone unit ..big rooms. We'll equipped kitchen. Off street parking..friendly host

Well equipped and comfortable. There's a main road nearby but it's actually quite quiet. Slept very well! Great to have an air fryer. A beautiful garden, and we saw the tui!

Ok but wouldn't stay again

The garden was really lovely. Lounge and beds were ok. Close enough to town. Owner really friendly.

The internet was on and off and last day it stopped working. We were notified when we got there they had no fibre and they were aware of the poor internet connection. The sheets seemed cleaned but not sure the quilt covers in the main room were washed and they had a bad smell to it. There were also crumbs on the chairs in the dining room.

The owner was there but not fussing around .. just super....We had a sudden death in the family so we were late leaving .. She was very understanding.

Great location. Beautiful gardens and birds. Enjoyed the shower. Very roomy, much more spacious than a motel. The owners were fantastic and welcoming. Everything we needed to cook meals. Highly recommend and would love to come back and stay.

Excellent and highly recommend staying there, Wil definitely stay again.

This was an exceptional Cottage and place to stay for families and long term stay especially. The Hosts were very lovely and very helpful. It was the best place to stay in Invercargill! I Highly recommend and will definitely stay again next visit.

convenient location, great parking, comfortable beds, although it’s a busy road during the day there was no road noise at night. would definitely stay again.

A nice place, but they need to sort out their WiFi.

Nice place, well equipped.

WiFi was very poor, worse than my rural Adsl. Apparently this is unusual.
