Excellent apartment in a prime location on Aberystwyth front. Spacious, and clean. The housekeeping staff were very helpful
1. I had booked for a week from Saturday to Saturday and didn't get access to the property till Sunday, so we had to move. I couldn't stay the extra day so our trip was cut short a day. ie we only stayed 5 days in a place I booked for 7. Since I was with a friend and her two teenage boys this was disappointing.
2. The kitchen is not well equipped for the numbers the apartment can take. A cafetiere for one, for example, when the place can hold 7 or more, and not enough cutlery.

We got moved into an appt where the living areas were in the basement.

On collecting the keys, we were given a different flat in a different location. The staff were friendly and helpful and our new flat was outstanding!! We had had a nightmare of a journey to get to Aberystwyth and the facilities were cosy and welcoming and just what we needed, a tv in every room with a balcony to have my morning coffee on..perfect!
Ive seen a few negative reviews on properties. But In our experience, we had a wonderful, welcoming night. True, the furnishings looked a bit tired and dirty but the facilities were well stocked and the bathrooms and bedding were clean and plenty.

The space in the accommodation is fabulous with great views out to sea.
There are stains on the hall carpet which need attention. So does the stain on the pink arm chair cushion. It's also obviously never been removed and cleaned underneath. There were no cleaning products and even the washing up liquid had been watered down! Cutlery and crockery looks like carelessly chosen random bits. No books, magazines, not even a pen. No info for visitors - nothing about the WiFi code, appliances, recycling. The pillows have seen better days and need replacing. It's not currently a home from home, but with a little attention to detail it could be. It makes me wonder how often Booking.com check properties on their books. We heard a woman on our way out say 'this is not what we booked' and reading the reviews, she's not the first to say that.
