Villa Horizont is an amazing house. If you are lucky enough to have found this place unbooked, then book it immediately. Situated about a fifteen minute walk from Fazana beach, the property has four ensuite rooms, all with air conditioning units and with two of them having breathtaking balcony views of the sea and Brijuni island. The living space and kitchen area is generous in size, again with air conditioning and with one side floor to ceiling glass giving views onto the tearrace and rear garden. A sliding glass door grants access to the terrace where a sizable dining table sits at one end with chairs and a coffee table at the other. This is entirely covered, so shade is plentiful. The pool is perfectly sized and with the rear of the property facing west, there is always a part of the pool where you can appreciate shade. During our stay, the daily tempereatures were an average of 35 degress, so this was most welcome. Dotted around the pool are plush loungers and a couple of hammock type swing setas, adding to the lucury of this place. An outside shower is also present allowing you to wash off before and after using the pool. There is also a brick built barbecue outside for which there is plenty of wood provided. In the basement there are plenty of games to keep you entertained - a pool table, table tennis table, darts board, Fußball table, treadmill, multi-gym and playstation. We used these every day and with the space being air conditioned, it was welcome relief from the heatwave outside. The owners also provide an electric scooter for people to use to pop down into fazana for the morning croissant/bread run, which saves on having to find a parking space. The local area is stunning, the beaches are white pebble, the waters crystal clear and the people are beyond friendly. I have never been to a European nation where everyone speaks English so well. It just meant that you never had to worry about trying to fumble your way through a conversation. 5 stars!

This is how fabulous the place was - the only thing I could ask for is brighter bulbs in the lights above the pool table and Fußball table. I mean, that is it.
