My husband and I (from Port Angeles), our son, daughter-in-law and grandson from Dallas, and daughter and son-in-law from Loveland CO, all stayed here over the Christmas holiday. We were delighted and excited from the moment we stepped into this absolutely lovely cottage overlooking Peaceful Valley and the Spokane River. The location was close to Kendall Yards and downtown Spokane as well as several great restaurants. We were also equal distance from my folks and my sister so it was easy to get together with family.
The Ohio Cottage is one of the cleanest and most well appointed vacation rentals we have ever stayed in. There is a wonderful play area with games and toys - the blocks were our grandson’s favorite! Additionally, instructions were clear and concise, from running the washing machine to using the fireplace. If there was a question, the hosts were quick to answer and help.
I would definitely stay there again. Thank you for a memorable stay for all of us.

Went for a long half weekend with buddies for a bachelor party. Place was perfect, great location, clean, comfy, pretty much everything we needed to cook, stay, hang out and have a home base for our outings. Anything you need is within about a mile and it is all walkable. Will rent again for sure. To the hosts, we meant to replace the garlic powder as we used the last of yours. Didn’t realize until we were 5 hours away. Sorry about that. Everything was excellent, highly recommend.

We had a wonderful time in Spokane. The home was lovely, the views were stunning, and the location was perfect for the activities we enjoy. We appreciated the cleanliness, decor, special touches like local info, the bikes... so much more. The home made our vacation extra enjoyable!

The home was great. Had everything you could possibly need. My wife left her Diabetes Tester in a drawer. Owner found it and mailed it to our home in Arizona. The home is across the street from a walking path that follows the river.

We had a multi-generational group celebrating a birthday. This was the perfect gathering spot.
The house has plenty of privacy for bedrooms but also space for group cooking, eating, and playing games.
We walked to Riverfront Park as well as a few times around the pretty neighborhood block.
The 2 cafes 1/2 block away were fantastic for coffee and donuts.
I highly recommend this cottage for a quiet stay with fantastic views, plenty of room, and easy access to the walking trail that will take you to several restaurants or the Park.

We stayed here 3 nights for my sons baseball tournament at Gonzaga University. Location was great. Access to centennial trail couldn’t have been better. We brought our e-bikes and we’re able to bike to the games. House was immaculate clean and well taken care of. Plenty close place to eat. Park across the street for littles. Amazing view of the city.

We had a family reunion in Idaho and we couldn’t have picked a better home to stay at.
The owners are so engaged, gave us great recommendations. I love unique coffee shops and one is literally a block away from this home.

We loved our stay at the cottage in Kendall Yards. The location is ideal close to coffee shops, niche restaurants and downtown. The view is amazing and you are right off the Centennial Path. The property is nicely landscaped, the kitchen is well-stocked and the beds are comfortable! We definitely look forward to returning in the future!

We really enjoyed our stay here. The beds were very comfortable, the house is lovely and drinking my morning coffee on the patio was so peaceful. The location is convenient to restraunts and activities. Would recommend this house to anyone staying in Spokane. The owners respond quickly and are easy to work with.

Your amazing Ohio Cottage was the perfect backdrop for visiting our dad. The property gave us siblings a wonderful space to ourselves for reuniting. And only a short drive to downtown and seeing other family. We got two really nice family walks in too with the trail mere steps from the front door! Wonderful, attentive hosts. We’ll be back!

A lovely, cozy home in a beautiful setting! It's a surprise as from the outside it looks like a cute little home, but it has 3 levels with all the amenities. Everything we needed was there, and it was spotless! The bedrooms were all so comfortable, and the den with the fireplace was a perfect hang out spot for 4 of us. We like being able to walk into Kendall Yards for dinner or to pick up take out, or hit the grocery store.
Easy parking, coffee shop just steps away. AND the views from the upstairs bedrooms are not found anywhere else.Loved all of it!

Comfortable and well-equipped home in lovely Kendall Yards fit our family well for a special Thanksgiving. Tri-level floor plan provided privacy and many spots for quiet times, and family room kitchen area was spacious for group gatherings and meals. Loved it!

A group of us stayed in the house for a conference that was being held downtown. It was a short drive to the conference center or 30 minute walk along the river. The location was great with some breakfast places nearby. The views were also amazing from all of the rooms, with great space.

We reunited for our college reunion and this house was perfect. Safe neighborhood, comfortable beds, big, comfy couches, well stocked kitchen. It was clean and the property manager was responsive and great. Definitely would stay here again!

The Centennial Trail was accessible from the front door and a part of each day. We enjoy birds and saw many from the patio. The Kendall Yards complex was fun to explore.

This place was amazing for our 3 family weekend get away!!!! It was well stocked, in an amazing location, and a cozy atmosphere for our kids to play with their cousins, and for us to get together with our brothers and sister!!!! We will absolutely be booking again!!!

This home was perfect for us. We are four friends who have been traveling together since 1987. What we especially liked was that each of us had their own room. We also liked being close to the city of Spokane. The hosts communication with us was excellent.
We would highly recommend this home for a relaxing get away which is close to everything that Spokane has to offer.

We had the best stay at Ohio Cottage. When I arrived in town I received a text to welcome me to town and let me know the property was ready before check in. That was great. I also had question about the coffee maker - let me know - don’t worry! There is local coffee at the house to try. (FYI It’s a coffee maker not a Kuerig).
The view is amazing night and day. You will be right on the Centennial Trail which was awesome because we were all runners and enjoyed being steps away from a great stretch of the trail. You will be a few miles from Doomsday Hill (Bloomsday route) if you want to work on running hills! The opposite direction on the trail will take you right into downtown Spokane and Riverfront Park - about a mile walk along the ridge / trail. Beautiful views the whole way. This really is a great location.
We enjoyed breakfast on the patio, the hot water seemed endless, the house had everything we needed. Enough towels, kitchen supplies, etc. There are bikes you can also use, scooters and skateboards. Even free weights which I has happy about so much didn’t have to miss strength training on vacation.
This was a trip with friends but if I bring my family back I will definitely book again. Thank you!

What a marvelous place, very clean and welcoming. Loved the fact that there was a binder on how to use things and where to go and visit. When you walk in you feel like you are in a beach resort. Definitely a great place, would stay here again and recommend it.

Great location in Spokane
Amazing location in the heart of Spokane. The owner had bikes and a skateboard for use right on the centennial trail. Minutes away from restaurants, the falls, shopping and so much more. There are a lot of stairs to get to all 3 levels, so make sure physically you are able to handle them. Would definitely stay here again!
