About this apartment rental
The house was built by my grand-father at the beginning of the 60's so I consider this place as my "home".
Feel welcome and have a nice stay
Apartment of 65 square meters on the ground floor in a house of 2 floors located on the seafront in Portiragnes-plage (Herault): cross the street and the dune and you are on the beach!
Ideal rental to accommodate 4 adults and 2 children
Unfortunately this apartment is not suitable for people with disabilities or for disabled people
2 bedrooms with bed 140 and 1 bedroom cabin with 2 bunk beds 90
"baby kit" provided: foldable travel cot, booster seat, bath and suitable cutlery
1 living room of 18 square meters with a table for 8 people, sitting area with sofa 3 places and 2 armchairs:
47' Smart TV, Bluetooth soundbar, DVD player, CD Player and high speed internet access (300 Mb/s)
1 bathroom of 9 square meters with walk-in shower
a private courtyard of 30 square meters shaded by mulberry plane tree with a garden table for 8 people, 2 sunbeds, 2 armchairs, 1 large umbrella and 1 barbecue
1 garage for a vehicle of 4 meters 50 and a driveway in which we can also park 1 car
a tiny kitchen (6 square meters) but well equiped : ceramic glass cooktop, electric oven, dishwasher and microwave oven
You have access to eveything in the apartement including comics and books, DVDs and CDs
your access and the groundfloor is private (nothing to share with other people)
You can always reach me by phone because Sylvie doesn't speak english but she will be very helpful. She will welcome you and help you during your stay and when you will be leaving. In case of any problem just contact me.
I have written a "welcome handbook" and now it's even in english.
It includes ideas about visits and little hikes in the surroundings and in the area.
Location:
Portiragnes-Plage is at the center of Golfe du Lion not far away from Béziers, Valras-plage and Agde - Cap d'agde (only 15 Km away by car)
It's quiet a quiet and family style seaside resort with a 4 km long sand beach.
West of Portiragnes-plage there is a wetland protected area (Natura 2000) that you can discover on foot.
2 ranches will let you discover by horse the surroundings
And the town offers outdoor sport activities to children.
How to reach us:
Béziers-Agde airport is only 10 Km away, but unfortunately there are no buses only cabs are available.
the closest SNCF railway station is in Béziers and there are buses from to Portiragnes-plage

Good to know :
a) The apartment is not air-conditioned but benefits from external insulation
You have to close the shutters between 11:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. and at least between 12:00 p.m. and 3:00 p.m. and ventilate at night to maintain freshness.
b) Regarding the bunk bed, the upper bed is not suitable for children aged 0 to 6 years.
c) It is prohibited to recharge any type of electric vehicle because no device is provided for this
purpose either in the apartment or in the garage (risk of fire)
