About this house rental
Located in Westport, this charming house for $230 per night is a great choice for your next break. A modern very conveniently located town house, walking distance to all the local artisan shops, lively pubs and restaurants in the beautiful town of Westport. On street free parking is available ,child friendly and pets are welcome too. Easily accessible to Westport train station and bus stops. Greenway access is 10 meters from the front door. The house has three double bedrooms (master bed ensuite ) with vanity area, enough space to sleep 6 adults in super comfortable beds with blackout blinds. There is a family bathroom located on first floor and an extra cloakroom on ground level. There is a large family kitchen diner with all mod cons ,a perfect space for entertaining ,which leads out to a private rear large patio area, with patio furniture, very safe for children. Extra blankets, throws provided, for indoor and outdoor use, superfast broadband, mood lighting throughout the house. The living room has a large comfortable corner sofa, board games, playing cards and a 49 inch TV and is a calm guest/family space.

Townhouse was in a great location in the center of Westport and we enjoyed the town a lot. The beds were very nice. However, based on the listing we were expecting a garden and there was none. Also, there was mold in the master bath that got much worse while we were there. The refrigerator made periodic shrieking noises and the coffee maker did not work. Also off putting is a large painting in the kitchen of two naked boys peeing. Supposed to be funny but not pleasant to look at when you’re eating a meal.

Very Lovely- just as advertised, everything was super clean and in great working order. Spacious and comfortable. Loved the location at the head of town just close by the clock tower with convenient walking access to the pubs, the shops, sightseeing and a nice walk to the quay along the Greenway.
The views along this coast are pretty special. We came in honor of our ancestors who left during the hunger years. We lit candles in St. Mary’s Church in their remembrance.
Westport delivered much more. We enjoyed the boat tour of Clew Bay, trip to the beach, the Greenway, a trip to the Deserted Village in Achill and a tour around Westport House.
Great dining at The Towers overlooking the Bay. Delicious tapas at No. 8. And lunch at This Must Be The Place. We loved the friendliness and leave with full hearts for such a successful and very special family reunion.

We had a lovely week at the house. It was well presented and clean, and almost everything about it was perfect. The beds were comfy and we all slept well.
If I was being really picky I would say the only thing missing was coat hooks near the front door.

We loved Westport and our stay at Martina’s house. We were welcomed by Clare upon arrival and she walked us through the house and told us everything we needed to know. It had great space for our family of 5 and the location was perfect. Highly recommend.

This home was a great home base for our excursions in this part of Ireland. We explored Westport, climbed Croagh Patrick, took a day trip to the Aran Islands, and were just a few minutes walk from the closest grocery store.

We stayed at Martina's house in Westport for 3 nights and it was the perfect holiday home for our family. The location is right in the town, so close to all the cafes, bars and restaurants of this bustling town. Westport itself is also a good base generally for lots of drives and hikes in the Mayo, so it worked out great for us as base camp. The house itself is so well taken care of, it's got personal touches in every room. The bedrooms were all lovely and comfortable, the kitchen was big and had more than what you would expect and the living room was a perfect hangout for us once the kids were in bed. We would certainly stay here again if we were in the area

This townhouse was just what we needed for our multi-generational stay in Westport. We (husband/myself, daughter/son-in-law, 2-year-old grandson) easily made ourselves at home here as absolutely everything you could possibly need was provided. Had a few little hiccups with heat that were very quickly rectified by Clare (fabulous house manager) and would highly recommend this home to anyone visiting Westport - great location (walking distance to everything), amenities, and artwork! Thank you Martina and Clare for such a wonderful visit to Westport!

This is probably as good as it gets-a very nice townhouse with really cool decoration, good sized rooms and kitchen with great beds, linen, and everything else you may need during you stay. Super-central, yet quiet location. Thank you so much, will definitely visit again if we get the chance!

We were two adults, two kids 9 and 6 years old, and one senior with mobility issues. The house was so comfortable and well appointed, we really enjoyed our stay. We particularly liked the well stocked kitchen (and kids appreciated the blankets on chilly mornings). For those with mobility issues there is a steep hill down to town and back up to the house (but of course you could drive the two blocks) and bedrooms are on the top floor but the master bathroom has a walk in shower. We loved the sessions, especially the one we attended at Matt Malloy’s. Also highly recommend the Greenway from Achill Island. We did the Achill to Newport section (not all the way to the house) which was gorgeous. We appreciated that the house was a bit removed from the late-night revelry and pretty quiet. Clare was super helpful at check in and throughout. Thanks for sharing your home with us!

This "happy" house was the perfect fit for our family. Clare and her son were so helpful with giving us instructions on water heating and other technical questions. We enjoyed the private yard with its clever touches, and we had everything we needed in the kitchen. The espresso machine and milk frother were most welcomed, as was the washing machine.
I would be remiss not to mention the clever addition of Banksy, and other "tongue in cheek" artwork.

We loved this bright, clean, well appointed house right in the middle of Westport, which was buzzing throughout our stay. Great greenway less than 30 seconds from front door. So many beaches and lovely places to see within 30-60 minutes drive. Fab to have a great coffee maker well stocked with pods.

Great Location, Lovely House
The house is just around the corner from the center of town. It's a short walk to restaurants, pubs, a grocery store, and bike rental shops. We appreciated the basket of brochures and suggestions left by Martina, and Clare was extremely helpful in showing us around the house when we first arrived.
I stayed here with my husband and three children (ages 18, 20, and 21). We started each morning with breakfast at the large kitchen table and planned our day. When we returned in the evening, it was nice to have the whole house to spread out in--the living room area with a door that closes allowed the kids to stay up later and relax after a busy day.
Parking was never a problem. We always found a spot right across the street. It was a short drive to Bertra Beach, Old Beach, and Croagh Patrick, and a nice bike ride to Westport House and the Greenway.
We had a great stay, and I would recommend this house!

Perfect Spot for Exploring Westport, County Mayo
All that I could hope for in location, space and comfort. My friends and I had the best time enjoying meals in the spacious kitchen, relaxing in the living space and slept soundly in the bedrooms. Close to town so all can ramble on their own, stroll to the quay and Westport House along the greenway and enjoy music in the pubs. . Just make sure you can walk up a fairly steep hill from town. Clare was charming and available when we had a question.

A gem in the eye of Westport
What an amazing house, from the minute you walk into the hall, and greeted by a warm hello Hello light. This house is a home from home, so meticulously decorated in each room, with such brilliant apt pictures, lighting and furniture. It was just awesome. The kitchen had every appliance you could think of, even a nepresso coffee machine...with capsules!!...and a seating table and chairs that wraps everyone around in conversation. The backgraden...this was clever how a walled in space suuddenly felt you could sit for hours there...just see for yourself. The TV room with that glorious wall mounted TV and cosy L chair...was a welcome break from climbing that Craogh Patrick mountain.....man! that was a tough climb but do try it. The bedrooms had these duvets and bedlinen that wrapped around your body, and getting up early was just a big no no. In terms of location, come on...this does not get any better...you are 2 mins walk downhill from town. However in that two mins you will already pass a great local pub, two italian restaurants and amazing coffee cafe at the end of the hill...and you still have to explore the entire wonderful town of westport,,,, My advice, park up the car , leave it and walk everywhere... Plenty to do in Westport, greenway, climbing mountains, super beaches, invigorating shops, eat your way around the restaurants and drink if you too. Finally the best part is left to last. Martina, the owner and Clare the welcome lady. If you need to be assured of anything, between emails, phonecalls and face to face contacts, there was never a moment of doubt. We were made to ensure this was home from home. Thank you soooo much Martina and Clare for a wonderful time in Westport. I genuinely was sad to leave.

Just back from a 5 night stay at Martina & Claire’s house, this was an ideal house for our family of 5 loads of room, house is spotless with everything you could possibly need for your stay, was an absolute pleasure dealing with the girls even got locked out of the house as we forgot to take our keys but this was no problem the girls had us sorted in no time 😉 would definitely be returning here, many thanks Martina & Claire
