A lovely apartment in a very clean house. The air conditioning in the living room/kitchen was a real bonus, as it was very hot in August. We kept the shutters closed in the bedrooms, which helped to keep them cool.
We stayed on the second floor and had a beautiful sea view, with lovely sunsets. There was a small table and chairs on the balcony. As there were three of us, it was just big enough.
The kitchen was well equipped, including a dishwasher and washing machine. The owners, a lovely couple, were very friendly and helpful.
There is a beautiful garden with fruit and vegetables, as well as a lovely swimming pool with plenty of sun loungers and both sunny and shaded areas. There is also a BBQ.
Within a five-minute drive (walking is possible, although we didn't try it), there are several pebble beaches, with plenty of parking spaces available.
The village itself is rather quite, with two small supermarkets, a pizzeria and a restaurant. There was also the occasional live performance in the small village square.
If you are looking for more entertainment, Fazana is the place to go. There are more shops, ice cream parlours and other amenities, and you can also take a boat trip to the largest of the Brijuni Islands, which we would definitely recommend.
