This place has a few things to note as exceptional:
1. The host Carlotta is one of a kind; people lover/ service oriented. She will go above and beyond to make you feel special ( including dinner reservations, gift giving, and 100% availability
2 car parking . Hard to find villas with free parking in the area.
3. Cleaning: I have stayed in many hotels and apartments but this place is spotless and is cleaned every 2 days including sheets and towels change.
4. Value for money; Tourmina is an expensive place but the apartments at Da Vinci are spacious
1. Descriptions of apartments and especially of the view from them id quite confusing on booking.
We took the room with sea view and ended with a view of the street below and some sea but discovered that the real view is from higher floors and from “room with a terrace”
2. The place is very far from the center so if you leave you have to leave for the day. There’s bo “popping for a while” and back at the villa. Just be advised
3 in an apartment that is suitable for 4 people there should be a second mirror out of the bathroom (but that’s a minor thing easy to add).
Even with the downsides; I still thing that this is great value for money and will come back again - this time to a room with a terrace 😉

The best view I have ever had in my life. Etna plus the Sicilian coast. The apartment was spectacular as well and the host Carlotta was magnificent.

The view from the property is amazing and worth the walk .! The area is so quiet and the swimming pool area is delightful,especially needed as the weather was so warm .The apartment is so clean and modern and the owners really care about their guests ,ensuring you know ,for example , the best restaurants and bus timetables .Perfect!

I had a wonderful stay at Carlotta’s guesthouse in Taormina. Everything was exceptionally clean and well looked after, and Carlotta was incredibly friendly, welcoming and helpful throughout my stay.
The views were absolutely breathtaking — waking up to that scenery was truly special! The location was also perfect, with everything you need within easy reach and a great base for exploring Taormina.
I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Taormina. Thank you, Carlotta, for such a lovely stay! ❤️
