The building was spectacularly, keeping its historic authenticity.The staff didn’t disappoint either, they helped in every way possible, I had an issue with my phone, which I was given assistance with, considering it was my problem not the hotels.It was also great value,at the time I was staying,early September.
I was unable to work out the AC ,it was hot and humid when I was staying.It was just that I arrived back late to the hotel,if it was earlier I could have had assistance on how to work it out.

A gorgeous, solid built, historic and well maintained family-run Haveli (from 16th century) inside the Jaisalmer fort.
Nearby the Jain temples with wind-bell sounds in the background, in the historic town and all, altogether this was such an experience.
The room is clean and comfortable, everything worked including aircon and Internet. We had a city view with a balcony and, it was so comfortable and nice, the whole setting made us nearly extending our stay (we couldn’t due to schedule limits however).
The host and his family went above and beyond for us - pick up/drop off service by the fort entrance, bringing up/down the luggages, offering walkin tour around the fort, and many more.
Breakfast was modest but tasty Indian style home cooked food (we loved it).
The shower pressure was quite weak, and there weren’t hot water at the time of our stay (August) but as it was quite warm enough we didn’t care.

Owned and cared for by a generational family, this Haveli is one of the most exceptional I have ever seen and is positioned excellently within the Jaisalmer Fort. The rooms are impressive and varied and housed our Australian group. The owners spoke excellent English and communications were easy and professional.

It was located really perfectly near the Jain Temple. The owners were very friendly and helpful. The ratings of 9.1 just do not seem to be that honest.
The facilities were poor the sheets were old and tired. I know that this is a historic building that is beautiful, but way too rustic for our taste. It was very cold and when you have a shower the water goes everywhere. The noise at night in our room is continuous I would suggest asking for a room at the rear with a view out of the fort. So sorry all in all disappointing.
