This offering includes the ground level 2br+1.5ba unit, sleeps 6, & professionally designed with the finest attention to detail. DESIGNER INTERIOR This meticulous & well-appointed interior was professionally designed with high attention to detail. As you enter the main entry you will be greeted by a spacious & open floorplan, with windows galore & west facing to allow for lots of light. The living room features new furniture including a plush sofa, accent chairs, area rug, cozy gas fireplace, & beautiful wood flooring (note - bedrooms have comfy carpet flooring) to round out the space. Off the main living area is a gourmet kitchen with adjacent dining room. Our kitchen features a center island with pendant lighting & open to the living/dining areas, granite countertops, stainless steel appliances, & bar seating. Adjacent to the kitchen is a dining table with seating for 4. Off the kitchen is a separate door that leads to your expansive backyard, which is *exclusive only to this ground level unit (Note - guests for the second level unit will access backyard stairway). The yard features a large grassy lawn, outdoor seating ideal for soaking in the San Diego sun, as well as a BBQ. In addition to your rear yard is a grassy front yard, also exclusive to this unit. Both areas have hose for rinsing off after a fun day at the beach. POLICIES & GOOD NEIGHBOR GUIDELINES • GUEST REQUIREMENTS | Per certain regulations & HOA requirements, guests must be at least 30 years of age to book with us. If your group is all adults, then all guests must meet our minimum age of 30. • OCCUPANCY | Our maximum occupancy refers to the number of people allowed in the home at any given time (ie includes both guests & visitors), some of which may be mandated by certain regulations. Exceptions towards the maximum number of people allowed may be made for children under the age of 2. Guest(s) agrees that more than the number of people stated on the reservation shall not occupy the premises. The number of guests includes visitors, even if they are not staying overnight. • NOISE | Our homes are intended for relaxing getaways, not rowdy beach parties. Music and other noise is to be kept at an appropriate level and in a manner that is mindful to neighbors. Noise that can be heard 50 feet away from the home is prohibited. Parties are not allowed. If there is excessive noise or music, any illegal activity, or evidence of violation of these policies, you may be asked to vacate the premise without any refund and additional charges may be assessed. • COMBINATION LISTINGS | Due to occupancy restrictions, larger groups looking to book multiple units must reserve a approved combination listing. The rental was well cleaned and had what we needed. HOWEVER, I wouldn't stay here again because of the following: The carpet is really old and feels yucky under foot. The shower curtain tension rod fell several times which was annoying. The linens and blankets are cheap and the pillows are really old. It's also a dark apartment. The lighting was dim. The windows are really dirty so that didn't help. A fresh coat of white paint, new carpet, and a window clean would go a long way. The most notable flaw was the smell. The entire space smells VERY musty!!! Like it's coming up from a dank basement. This was apparent the entire stay and made it very unpleasant. This apartment is obviously an investment for someone who really doesn't care. I have stayed in Surfstyle rentals before and this was not what we have experienced in the past.

Nice curb appeal in a very quiet neighborhood. Spacious apartment with nice back patio. Weber gas grill was easy to use and worked great. Apartment had every possible amenity and was tastefully decorated. We came down from Northern California to watch the youngest daughter receive her Masters Degree from UC San Diego. Very relaxing stay. Highly recommended.

Close proximity to the beach, great location, quiet and safe neighbourhood. Lots of food options nearby. Kitchen was well stocked. Had an issue with internet/TV connection and the property managers were super responsive.

No hot water in the kitchen, when we called you said that you would send a plumber. No hot water. Beds, bedding insulting. Filthy duvet cover, stained! Old pillows, flat!dust and spider webs and spiders everywhere! Upon arrival the couch was disassembled, furniture out of place. Odor of chemicals so strong to cover the musty, moldy smell.

Location is great. Having a driveway to put the car and a backyard to sit out and read is a definite plus. We rented the ground floor of this house for a month. It is roomy, especially for 2, and comfortable. Neighborhood is a little noisy but friendly. Walking distance to restaurants and 3 blocks to the ocean. Nice get away.
