Staff superb. Location excellent. Breakfast outstanding, (thank you chef!) really pet friendly. so quiet I slept like a log.
Could just do with a slight update, bit of a deep clean but it wasn’t really owlt to complain about, I’d stay here again.

The breakfast was excellent - a good selection and perfectly cooked.
The dinners were also very good
The hotel is near some great walks, and the local bus service connects to lots of buses to other areas in the Lake District

All the staff was pleasant and accommodating. The room was a good size and easy to get in and out of for sight seeing. The room was kept tidy by housekeeping.
The 2 mattresses were not in good shape and they need to be replaced. Also, the bathroom had a musty odor like there there was not proper ventilation.
