Liked that it was close to town. Liked the quiet and birdlife. Appreciated having two bathrooms at either end of the house so we didn't wake each other up. Well supplied with electrical, cookware, linen, etc. Was nice having the TV in the dining/lounge area but would have been nicer to have a TV in the lounge where the fire was - couldn't enjoy the fire as much.
We would have appreciated more firelighters, and maybe some kindling, as the first night there was very cold, and we just kept the fire going with the few we had. Had to buy some. The cupboard was falling off the hinges in the corner cupboard, but once we informed them, the hosts said they would get onto it.

Signage of the actual road- crooked (pointing the wrong direction) and super confusing when l arrived at night.
The bonus was the signage of the property- brilliant.

Location, living space, views from deck, bathroom & toilet amenities. Gorgeous house, lovely furnishings, everything you need in the kitchen. Lovely linen & plenty of towels, pillows & blankets. Comfy couches. Heating & coolings options + usb charging station super handy!
Loads of easy instructions before hand & through your house.
Cobwebs in bedrooms and throughout house. 5 large daddy long leg spiders, lots of babies in spiderwebs mainly in bedrooms. 1 massive huntsman in hallway corner.
2 cockroaches, 1 in living room crawled out from under furniture & 1 in shower day 2.
Native birds obviously been fed by previous guests or locals. Incredibly tame and flew in as we bought food out onto deck so had to eat inside for fear of swooping. Need to discourage people (prob tourists) from feeding birds!
Nasty musty smell in one room (behind kitchen)
