The Coach House felt very homey and comfortable. Like returning to your favorite holiday house. It was roomy and had a very well stocked kitchen. The towels were plentiful & water hot. The garden was a delight with lots of blooms & birds. Colin was a very proactive communicator & highly responsive. A great host. Aberfeldy is charming with plenty of walks, both easy & challenging. There are lots of restaurants & coffee shops, a Coop grocery, hardware store, lovely cinema and butcher shop. We cooked alot because the kitchen had everything & the butcher shop was great. Try to get to Iain Burnetts Chocolatier in Grantully (5 mi by car or walking trail along the river). A really great stay!

The coach house is in a really convenient location in a beautiful little town, which is central to many attractions in Scotland. Colin went the extra mile when we met him, in showing us the house and all the amenities. It proved to be an ideal fit for five of us travelling together.There were many extras available, which are not usually found in vacation rental properties, such as good China and many crystal glasses. It really felt like we were in home and not a rental property. I recommend the coach house and Colin as a vacation rental. Jim Grier Vancouver Island.

Oh my goodness, we absolutely loved our stay in the Carriage House in Aberfeldy. Sometimes photos just can't accurately reflect the loveliness of a property, and this is one of those times. We LOVED everything about our stay in Aberfeldy, which turned out to be the perfect home base for exploring the stunning Scottish Highlands. From attending the Northern Meeting bagpipe competition in Inverness to Glencoe to Inveraray to the fabulous 3-star Michelin restaurant at Glenturret distillery, EVERYTHING was perfect. The Carriage House was a fabulous home for us, with a well-stocked and large kitchen (with a very cool potato "masher"), super comfortable beds, luxurious showers, and a garden that served as our morning coffee spot and welcomed us home every evening. And being right in town was the best! Colin was a gracious host - meeting us upon our arrival with tips and lots of great instructions as to how we might best enjoy our stay. This was one of our favorite vacations ever! We will return.

The entire house, especially the kitchen, could benefit from a thorough cleaning and removal of the owner’s personal items when rented.One of the reasons we had rented this property was that the listing stated that there was a washer and a dryer. At check-in we were informed that the dryer did not work. If you are not going to fix the dryer, best to not name it as an amenity. The living room is very cozy and comfortable and we enjoyed wine and cheese in the yard watching the birds.
