Beautiful house, amazingly decorated and appointed. It so far was the best house we have rented in the usa or abroad considering the design and decorations. The shower was SPECTACULAR!! Parking was easy, being not directly in the city center was a great choice. Boulongerie/Patisserie was 2 blocks away. The host was tremendously helpful and communicative. All her suggestions were solid 10's. Unfortunately we were in France during the heat wave, but our host rushed over extra fans knowing we'd be uncomfortable. We will be blessed to be able to rent the house again! I cannot recommend it highly enough!!

Paula was a top rank host. Quick to respond, thoughtful, and helpful. The kitchen is smallish but pretty well equipped. Reims is a great side trip, of course, but so is chalone-en-champagne. We had many excellent meals. Best was probably Why Not, much more elegant than the name suggests. Was not wowed by Grillade Gourmand.If you are serious about champagne, I recommend you arrange visits with some small growers. The large house tours are fun but not as interesting.

We stayed at Paula's amazing house for my sisters 60th birthday. We were a group of four and each had a room to ourselves! First of all, Paula was an amazing host-she always responded to questions promptly, went out of her way to find out answers for us and to give us information about Epernay, places to eat/offered to make reservations for us and details about champagne houses to visit. She even shopped for some supplies for us before our arrival and had them in the house when we got there (It was Easter Sunday and the markets were going to be closed before we got in). The neighborhood was great and easily walkable to the Avenue de Champagne. The house was exceptionally clean, well appointed and beautifully maintained. Living area and beds were very comfortable and cozy. Kitchen totally stocked. The house had absolutely everything one would need. I would highly recommend staying here and I hope to come back and visit again sometime soon!! The only thing I might note is that there were more stairs than anticipated (2 sets from entry to main floor, then again to 3rd level with the 3 bedrooms)This was not really a problem for us other than navigating our overly packed suitcases up them :) which we did by unpacking them first! LOL :) Overall an amazing experience with Paula and her house!!

The picture shown on VRBO is not that of the property. This marketing is a lie. Very misleading and should be corrected. You are expecting a very different place than what you are getting. Shame on the owner!!!! Also there is no air conditioning.
