Scenic and luxurious apartment with private garden in a charming private courtyard, a few meters from the Frari Church, the Scuola Grande di San Rocco, the Accademia Bridge. Flooded by the light that enters from ten French windows, windows and glass doors, enriched by elegant curtains, this Venetian "cottage" is a true oasis of peace in the historic center of Venice. We had a very comfortable stay at this spacious and modern apartment. Thanks to detailed directions provided by hosts Matteo and Raffaella, the apartment was easy to find from the train station. Stepping inside the shared courtyard from the busy walk along a canal, you quickly enter a shared courtyard offering a safe, quiet and peaceful refuge. The private outdoor sitting area was quite nice as well. The kitchen is well-equipped, the bathroom and living area have ample room, the bed was very comfortable and the two closets outside the bedroom offer plenty of room for storage. The location near beautiful Santa Margherita Square, with its many fine restaurants is fantastic and offers easy access to anywhere you want to go in Venice. We would happily stay heat again!

It is difficult to think that there is a place more perfect for stay in beautiful Venice. The apartment is fantastically equipped and set in a lovely courtyard. It is ideal for a couple but could probably accommodate three adults quite comfortably. It is located away from the hustle and bustle of the main tourist centres (San Marco, Rivalto Bridge etc) but they are easy to access by foot or by the wonderful Vaporettos, the nearest stop of which is about five minutes away. There is a vibrant square, with lots of restaurants and bars, within three minutes of the property, which also includes a well-stocked supermarket. The apartment is very quiet and peaceful, and the outside space is restful and attractive. We fully intend to return as soon as we can to this wonderful place!! :)

It was lovely and located out of the fray of tourists but accessible to everything. There were lots of wonderful restaurants in the square nearby.A great stay

We were dropped by water taxi away from the property and had to haul our luggage to the apartment. This is not what was explained or understood. Information on how to access the property was well explained, however, host does not speak English and unable to answer questions.This property is in a residential area and in a quiet location, this is positive. Keep in mind the bed is a DOUBLE/FULL size, not a queen, not a king. There is little or no walking room on either side of the bed. The kitchen is equipped with bits and pieces of hodge podge glassware (only 2 wine glasses) and the pots and pans were dirty and the sponge was used previously. Normal VRBO supplies were sparse. There was no explanation on how to use a/c or heat or anything else, including the TV, common areas, optional laundry etc. TV had issues that were never resolved. Courtyard floods when it rains.
