About this house rental
Situated in Sherrills Ford, this attractive house for $402 per night is a great choice for your next vacation. Great quiet family getaway for swimming, fishing, paddling, boating and wildlife viewing. House has four bedrooms, 3.5 baths, whirlpool tub, two decks, screened-in porch, fenced-in play area, dock and walkout basement game room with ping pong table, foosball table and other games. There is a large, well-stocked kitchen that is open to the dining area and living area. House is located on a peninsula with 270 degree water views. There are decks with views of the water on both the front and back sides of the house. We like to enjoy our morning coffee in the shade on the front porch and have dinner in the shade on a large outdoor table on the back porch. Two kayaks, one canoe, a paddle board, a private dock, a neighborhood boat ramp, and various outdoor games are available for use by guests. The cove where the house and dock are located is very quiet. One of our favorite morning and evening activities is to paddle back into two adjoining undeveloped coves that are teaming with wildlife. There is a county park on the opposite side of the cove on the front side of the house, which has a playground, hiking trails and mountain bike trails. We ask that you let us know as soon as possible if you or anybody you have invited to the house is infected with COVID 19, or is exposed to a person known to be infected with COVID 19 within 15 days prior to your arrival or becomes infected with COVID 19 during your stay or within two weeks after your departure. Additional instructions to minimize exposure will be provided if you make a reservation. As you can see from the reviews of properties that we own, we pride ourselves of maintaining a very clean house. Because the house is in a rural location and is frequently vacant, there are two outdoor security cameras that point away from the house. There is a Ring doorbell, which is pointed toward the road and there is a security camera is on the south corner of the house pointed toward the driveway.

Loved being able to share Rick's vacation home! Very tidy and well-stocked kitchen complimented the equally comfortable beds and living arrangement.
Being in this small cove afforded us a very quiet and relaxing week, enjoying the sounds of the lapping water from the very comfortable dock and watching the wildlife.
Definitely consider this home for your next lake visit if you treasure peaceful and calm surroundings with all of the complete comforts of home. Highly recommend.

The house looks exactly like the pictures and the kids loved all the games. There is a notebook that is very detailed and answered any questions we had. The game room was a huge win and so were all the outside games. We rented a boat from a local marina and docked it at the house for a few days. It was very clean and we had no question about if it was properly cleaned before we arrived. Would stay again.

very quiet neighborhood, not far from grocery stores or Mooresville. Be sure if you want to fish you get your fishing license there is a 10 day license for outside residents you can purchase online. Plenty of room for family and/ or guests.

This was a lovely home and perfect for our family getaway. We loved the quiet cove where we felt secluded, yet only 10-15 minutes from all amenities that we needed throughout the trip. Great stay and would stay again.

My wife, 11 year old son, his friend and I stayed here for the 4th of July week and we loved it. The property owner was very informative and detailed about the property and was very helpful. The property itself was very clean and well kept as well in a great quiet location. We will definitely be coming back to this location in the future.

Stayed at this property with my wife and 2 girls (3 and 6 years old). The house was clean and well prepared. The view from the deck was nice. We arrived early and spend a few hours at the new park across the cove (Mountain Creek Park) which has an adventure playground and wildlife exhibit which the kids loved. We enjoyed fishing off the dock and using the game room when it rained. This was our first trip to the area and we're glad we picked this rental.

Our family enjoyed our stay at the lakehouse. Used the game room on a rainy day. Cooked a big Easter meal in the well equipped kitchen. Enjoyed the outside games and canoeing as well!

Beautiful peaceful spot. House was clean and very comfortable. Plenty of space for the family , even a playground for our 3yr old grandson to play on. Communication with owner was outstanding; was quick to respond and was available to recuse us when we managed to lock ourselves out of the house! Prefect for families- basement gameroom and plenty of beds.

Beautiful lake location, great area for hanging out downstairs and a nice living area upstairs for relaxing. Clean, well kept and nicely arranged to accommodate several couples or a large family! We had a wonderful time exploring on the kayaks.

Wonderful home located on Lake Normand! Anything you could possibly want to do from kayaking, taking a canoe ride and watching the sunset, swimming, fishing, or just relaxing in the hammock or on the porch. This place has it all and more. Highly recommend. Rick was great to communicate with.

Great house, location and activities!
The house was very clean and had everything that we needed for our stay. Probably the best stocked house we have ever stayed in, including kitchen items and some toiletries. Definite bonus that they allowed us to use their paddle board, kayaks, and canoe. We really enjoyed all of those! We loved being able to walk right down to the lake and swim and fish off the dock in a quiet cove with very little boat traffic. There's also a really great park nearby for hiking and biking trails, a huge playground for the kids, and pickleball courts.
We would definitely come back to this house again if we visit Lake Norman in the future!

Amazing stay!
This is a beautiful property right on the lake with every amenity you could want or need. Plenty of games, paddle board, canoe. The options were endless! It was a great visit!

Fantastic Stay!
The minute we arrived we were pleasantly surprised that the home is much brighter and more spacious than the pictures suggest. The owner is communicative and helpful and friendly. It was the perfect location for spending time with family and friends: quiet and rural but not too far from groceries. The cove is quiet and ideal for taking the canoe out with kids under 10. Thank you, Rick, we didn't want to ever leave!

Great place!
The location with lake views is wonderful. The home is immaculate and well-equipped. We loved the indoor and outdoor activities with paddle options, corn hole, ping pong, foosball and board games. Would definitely stay here again.

Lakeside Paradise
Everything about the house and stay were wonderful and consistent with the info on the website. Because the house is on an arm of Lake Norman, there were few power boats driving by to disturb the beauty and quiet of the area. The owner provided plenty of indoor and outdoor sporting and gaming materials to keep us entertained through our stay. A fun week.
